Three sailors from the USS George Washington aircraft carrier were found dead in less than one week, the Navy said, as the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and local authorities investigate the deaths.
One sailor was found unresponsive on board the carrier last Friday, while two other sailors were found at off base locations on April 9 and 10.

May as well melt it down for boat anchors Refueling a nuclear reactor and overhauling ship's systems and equipment isn't accomplished in a weekend.
The USS George Washington's RCOH is scheduled to be completed in May of this year.

Talk about a spectacularly uninformative article! Had I written the article I’d have tried to put the events in context. How many people in their age or grade die in the military vs the civilian world, etc. Had there been any drug or alcohol issues recently? Was there any indication of suicide or drug use?
Articles this uninformative are worse than nothing at all.

The Navy identified the sailor found deceased on April 9 as Retail Services Specialist 3rd Class...What the heck rating is that???
