People mock these releases as propaganda. These guys are getting killed. The reason is two fold. First is the structure and doctrine of the Russian army. They have these Battalion Combat Groups that push higher leaders closer to the front by their very structure; more exposure to things that go boom leads to higher casualties and deaths. Secondly, with the advent of drone warfare as being used in Ukraine, command and control nodes are much more vulnerable than in the past. Russia is fighting a war with doctrine based on experiences 15 to 20 years old.
I certainly hope the DoD is paying attention, because I guarantee you the Chinese, and every other near peer enemy that plans on taking on the US directly is paying attention.

The troops in eastern Ukraine are not combat effective for maneuver warfare. They are static ATT. They’ve dug in and put mine fields in front of them to protect against UKR small unit raids. Drones and long range arty are knocking them off. Their high command will not allow them to redeploy into Russia so they’ll just be ground up where they are.
This isn’t WWII warfare. It’s WWI warfare. Welcome back to 1917.

You can't use tanks, they get blown up by javelins. You can't attack with helicopters either, they are vulnerable to stingers. So infantry is the only way to go. Just like WWI.
FALSE! Not until all the Russian invaders have been killed, taken prisoner, or expelled from the country, and as long as the brave Ukrainian defenders (and innocent civilians) are suffering casualties, Ukraine needs help.
