Hat tip for Russian Trolls: If the Daily Mail is in the habit of posting stories about the deaths in combat of named, senior, Russian officers, who are in fact alive and well, or who died of cancer two tears ago, then mocking such stories as mere propaganda would be effective. But when such stories in the Daily Mail are routinely followed up a few days later by official Russian admissions that the fellow is in fact dead, and died in combat, then your present tactic just makes you look dimwitted.
Go with some other favorite Putin fanboi tactics:
Accuse the poster of an unnatural attraction to barn yard animals.
Say 'you gotta break some eggs to make an omelette' and claim such losses are meaningless.
Accuse the poster of being in thrall to George Soros.
Claim such losses are proof not of a complete lack of COMSEC, and/or battalion and brigade commanders fighting at the platoon/battery level in a desperate attempt to motivate dispirited troops, but rather proof of a laudable habit of Russian officers leading from the front.
Say 'just wait until The Great PumpkinEastern Offensive comes!'
