Time for some real talk about our favorite ex-president – this Dr. Oz endorsement reaffirms what we have all been seeing, that Donald Trump is losing his edge. Seven years after coming down the escalator and revolutionizing American politics by advocating the conservative/populist agenda that the bipartisan ruling caste had ignored for decades as our country swirled around the bowl, it is looking like we in the base have evolved while Trump is stuck in 2016, hitting golf balls, sending out his communiqués, and attending rallies that evoke but do not match the good old days. He can still turn it around, but right now, the truth is that he's messing up – and someone needs to tell him the truth.
His bizarre endorsement of Dr. Oz for the Pennsylvania Senate seat, greeted with a collective "What the hell was he thinking?" among the base, is only the latest of his tone-deaf maneuvers. It seems like he wants to run again in 2024, but Trumpworld is giving off the definite impression that he expects a coronation. If you like Trump, the last thing you want is a cakewalk. If you like Trump, you want him to fight for it and earn it.
I like Trump. In fact, just moments before the announcement that he had elected to bestow his blessing upon a guy with a record of supporting gun control, tolerating CRT, accepting abortion and playing along with the Mommy Munchhausen-driven trans kid mutilation fad, I was on Twitter listing him as being tied with Ronald Reagan as the greatest president of my long life. And I'll happily fight anyone who says differently. Trump, under the vilest and most hateful attacks imaginable by an enraged ruling class,

Kelyanne Conway was on the Laura Ingraham show earlier this week. She explained President Trump’s endorsement of Oz quite succinctly. Though she disagrees with it.
She explained to Laura that his endorsement is 100% due to his 30-year friendship with Sean Hannity who has been a loyal and faithful friend of President Trump for a very long time.
It’s Hannity’s endorsement of Oz and the longstanding friendship with President Trump that he did this.
No other reason.
Conway said to Laura that she disagrees with the president over this endorsement but she completely understands the president doing so. She said one of President Trump’s characteristics is his loyalty to good friends.

...the knives are coming out early!
They must really feel threatened!
And SADLY the antiTrump at FR will jump at the chance to trash him!
I definitely want a primary! The 2016 Republican primary was the best political entertainment I’ve ever witnessed, not to mention DJT destroyed his opponents. So bring them on. I’m certain he will be standing at the end.
Hannity is one of the dumbest conservatives in broadcast media.
Schlichter has a valid point, even if I don’t agree with him entirely here.
I want a primary so he can embarrass Larry (the turd) Hogan, And Mike Pence
His loyalty to Ivanka and Jared Kushner did much damage to his presidency. He should have kept them out of the White House. Told them to handle his business affairs in NYC, and let Baron take Jared's role in the WH.
Do we want this to be the future of the Republican Party?
Right here in Konnecticut, our (presumptive) GOP candidate for Gov doesn't know what his views on boys competing in girls sports might be.
I won't pull the lever for someone who thinks one can change their chromosomes by just thinking hard. How about standing for sanity, Bob Stefanowski?
Are you actually saying that Trump's son (who was 10 years old when Trump took office) should have had a job in the White House?
He fell for covid lies, betrayed us to Fauci, abandoned us on the 6th and let the Satanist kidnap the country on the 20th. I was ready to fight like it was War of the Worlds 1938 but he disappeared. Screw him.

That’s exactly what I was thinking....
I was thinking the same thing, wait Baron is still in Jr. High school, plus wasn’t Jared Kushner instrumental in helping negotiate the Abraham Accords ??
I like Trump and voted for him twice, but what I will never ever understand is how he, or anyone, could consistently pick the wrong people. Trump’s personnel record is like 99% of every person he picked was a disaster who stabbed him in the back or created destructive drama. IMO, that’s a big problem. You can’t pick someone just because they flatter you in an interview.
Trump did a heck of a lot of good for the country, but there also was a lot of unnecessary and unhealthy distractions from his poor personnel picks.
Definitely unforced errors and I think people are understandably concerned about this seeming blind spot, especially with this PA endorsement. Yeah, no doubt loyalty, but with the state of the country and the position you are in, that loyalty has to have limits.
“and let Baron take Jared’s role in the WH.”
You can’t possibly be serious. When President Trump was in office Barron was a child. He’s still but a teenager now. Though he’s quite tall. Last I heard he was 6’8” and this was at least a year ago now.
It also shows again how he became surrounded by the wrong people.
"Remember 1.5% inflation? Remember 3.7% unemployment? Remember $1.89 a gallon gas? Remember $1.99 a gallon milk? Remember a southern border sealed tight? Remember a violent crime rate half of what it is today? Remember when none of the world's murderous leaders were bothering their neighbors? Remember when Supreme Court judges were able to explain what a woman was? Remember when Marines weren't being slaughtered by 9th Century moslem psychopaths? Remember a President who could walk up the ramp of Air Force One without looking like a cripple?"
His head is filled with MSM propaganda to the point where he is regurgitating the Hussein O'Biden regime's talking points on Ukraine.
Solidarity sister:)
Trump makes terrible personnel and endorsement decisions that undercut his agenda and he hasn't shown that he has learned a damn thing.
Hogan needs to be blasted over criticizing the ‘parents in education bill’ even though he admitted he never read it.
