It affects a subset of sellers that send stuff to amazon to warehouse and ship for them. If you store and ship your items yourself then you dont get dinged.
Amd i think at least amazon is putting the increase only on the people that benefit the most from amazon doing deliveries for them.
They are already paying more anyways for warehouse fees. Most fba sellers are larger and are able to handle the increase better than smaller lower volume sellers not in the fba program.
Packed with pride, shipped with care, everything broken before it gets there.
They still have to be very careful about raising prices on some of their core users. Ebay was notorious for screwing over everyone, and their market cap has been doing pretty lousy from it
Yes
But unlike ebay they did this targeted logically and properly and it actually makes sense other than greed, and fba folks on average make more than independents who tend to be smaller just by being in fba
And ebay is still known for screwing over everyone, but the more you pay them, the less they screw you, if you follow my logic. You pay more for better treatment
UPSucks
When all they need is one: Biflation.
One man’s gouging is another man’s supply and demand. There were good reasons for Ivermectin paste to get really expensive, primarily its perceived usefulness against Covid combined with governmentally imposed scarcity of human pills. Whenever prices for something jump that much, always assume some government interference in the market.
And for the record, Durvet apple-flavored Ivermectin paste was $4 / tube at Amazon in November of 2020, when I bought my little stash. I’ve been loosely tracking it ever since, I wish I had formally done so. It would probably make an interesting graph / timeline. Currently around $12-$13 at Amazon, and $11-$15 at TSC, depending on brand.
Hey! Learning how to chest feed is difficult and time consuming! Cut the twink some slack!
Do I really need the < /s>?
After reading this article, Biden will close more pipelines to speed the green new deal.
They’re fighting inflation by causing more inflation.
They must have learned that from Xo Xiden.
They do mean consumers, right.?
The Establishment is steadily grinding us down. Our health care, our finances, our freedoms. I guarantee if we go another four years with Bidet and Heels up running the circus, there will be another major push to take our guns. And this time they might just be successful at it. All it will take is Roberts putting the nail in the coffin.
USPS sucks. Has an envelope take 29 days to go from MD to AZ. Thanks goodness I paid for tracking else it probably would have just vanished into the ether.
A problem is that Amazon watches what fulfillment items sell well and when they start buying and selling the items directly, the original "partner" loses the customer base he built to Amazon direct.
I never saw it for $4 and I checked often because tractor supply quit selling the duravet aplle flavor one we had been getti g there , though i was buying during 2021. There were folks selling it for over $50,a tube at one point, but it was stil. Available from tractor supply back then and other places as well at that point. I ended up buying the liquid from Jeffers innthe south east I beleive. I had a few tries getting it from Amazon but I waited and waited on 2 places who didn’t bother informing me thay they were out. I finally had to contact them to see what was up.
Anyways, it’s good stuff to have on hand as it also works for the flu. I was sick around 5 times or so during the whole pandemic time, and each time I used ivermectin, and got over whatever it was within 2-3 days (thoug I was left pretty weak for 2 of them for several days after)
A d yep- the gov really intervened a lot. Most pet supply and tack stores were told they could not sell it online, and cluld, only sell instore. Theynhad notices and warnings all over their zites during thst time. I tried several places- no luck. For some reason tsc stopped selling duravet ivermectin, but they continued with other brands-
I had some issues during late 2020, but otherwise it’s always been a great service for us.
Just checked my order history, $22.30 for a 6-pack of Durvet apple flavored in mid-November 2020. So $3.72/ea. I remember the singles being $4, or $3.99 or so.
And I’m convinced they use the same fake apple flavor the Jolly Rancher people use in their hard candies. It sure tastes the same.
Probably a supplier issue.
I’ve found Alibris good, too.
