Howdy, luvie.
Did you get the cooler temps they predicted for today?
Hot and VERY windy here, and the storms just blew through. Well, the main blast did. There are still some thunderstorms in the area because I still hear thunder rumble every now and then.

Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
We made it thru hump day, and still sane. Hope your week is going well, and as planned, and no sickness!

Hey there, radu!
Yes, it was much cooler and would have been so pleasant, but the wind was horrible here, too. Right now it’s very still, though, and I’d go sit out except for all the mulberry fuzzies that are still all over the place.
I wondered if it had hit your area yet. I sure hope a few thunderstorms are the most you get from it. It’s been wild in other locations.

Glad it was cooler but bummer about the wind. It was VERY windy here all day too.
We have a ways to go before this mess is out of here but the worst has passed. Just a lot of rain and some thunderstorms still to go.
There were tornados and a LOT of severe storms across the state this evening and I’ve already heard a few reports of storm damage. One tornado passed just a few miles north of us and I watched the lightning from that while outside earlier.

Oooooo....I’m so glad that tornado missed y’all! How did the tent for the Republican Women fare? Did it survive those winds? I hope so.

We’re glad too!
The tent held up just fine. We looked a little rough with our wind-blown hair though. LOL Mine was braided but it still looked rough.
We loaded up everything, dropped the frame, and took the canvas top off before we left. It won’t take long to set it all back up in the morning.

I hope the wild weather doesn’t spoil the event altogether. Lots of hard work wasted if it does.

It’s not an event. We set up during elections and early voting started today for our local elections. With luck, there won’t be any more weather like this the next week and a half. LOTS of luck. LOL
It’s going to be cooler, that much I know. Not cold but jackets will be required.

You wouldn’t consider it an event if you were there. LOL Traffic is pretty slow since this is just for local races. Not the same as presidential elections. August will be busier because that’s the general election for local plus primaries for state and federal.
We have a good time regardless.
And I haven’t paid attention to the time and now realize I should have turned the computer off a while ago. I need to get things done around here and go to bed.
I hope tomorrow’s less windy there. Y’all need a break from that wind!

Hey there, Pro...mowing going well? Grass growing fast?
With luck, I might be snow free in a couple weeks...then the clean up begins.
