I agree that many of these Putin cheerleaders should have been zotted. There is no excuse for cheering the brutal Russian aggression that Obama helped pave the way for.
But they, like Putin, believe too much of their own propaganda. There are many Russian-speaking eastern Ukrainians who will keep fighting the Chechen criminals and the Russian rapists. My wife loves her Donbas hometown but will not be able to go back in the foreseeable future. The Russians take leaders away and it appears to the Katyn Forest all over again.
You are correct, and even if they don’t want to help Putin, the leftist view of foreign policy is totally delusional, so they can’t achieve any positive results.
