Ukrainian Marines trying to defend the city of Mariupol from the onslaught of the Russian army says they've been fighting for more than a month without resupply of ammunition, food and water – but now the "mountain of wounded makes up almost half of the crew."
The dire warning from the 36th Navy Brigade, which was posted to Facebook on Sunday, suggests cracks are starting to form in Ukraine’s fierce defense of Mariupol.
"From the beginning... we have been defending Mariupol for 47 days," the Marines wrote. "We were bombed from airplanes, we were shot from artillery, tanks and other fire materials. We kept the defense worthy by doing the impossible. But any resources have a potential to run out."
"For more than a month, the Marines fought without refilling ammunition, without food, without water... [but now] the mountain of wounded makes up almost half of the crew," it continued. "Those who have unbroken limbs and can walk, return in order."
The Marines also say their unit is "dying but fighting" and "gradually we are coming to an end."

All this because NATO kept promising arms.
It should have been over after a couple of weeks.
It’s still going to end with Putin in charge of Donbas and AZOV in tatters, which is what he wanted.

NATO should never of been involved at all! This is how we get nuclear wars starting, which I’m sure at this point is what Ukraine wants. They poked the bear over and over, let them deal with it on their own.
Mariupol is pretty much under Russian control now, the few remaining Uke troops are hiding and trying to look for a chance to sneak out.
Meanwhile the west is telling them to keep fighting, and dying.
I think all the big battles will be done in a couple of months. Then we'll see low level insurgency much like the Iraq War. Ultimate victory will be where Putin ends up Russifying Donbas. I think it's more likely that he'll withdraw troops in shame.

And why does NATO even exist except for money and weapons laundering? Yes, Russia is a superpower with nukes, but the real danger is China.
Good to hear as once Mariupol is liberated, the war should end quickly. That was their military command headquarters.
Yes, China is huge danger, especially since the mid 90s when traitors in the US handed off nuclear secrets. We need to bring back North American manufacturing and shut down our imports and trade from there, leave them alone and stop building their forces for them.
Russian Army could have flattened them and the whole city 47 days ago.
If they were behaving in the way that Western Media accuses them.
It seems they are attempting to avoid unnecessary civilian casualties and giving Ukraine holdouts all chances to surrender. At the cost of Russian lives.
Fortunately there was no nuclear war. We did get to try out our weapons systems using Slavic meat as the test medium. Worked well for us shareholders, eh? Not so well for the Slavs though.

If we did pushing bringing manufacturing back to America, like really providing tax breaks to startups that buy all those old factories in the Rust and Textile Belt and start producing real inventory, this country would come back in 4-5 years.
Add to that selling BLM land for mineral and ranching profit to pay off our debt, and the tide could turn quite quickly.
Absolutely the tide would turn quick. The people in charge though don’t want that, and will try to destroy us by any means necessary.
No all this because Putin is a killer.
Should of let Zelensky fix his own mistakes. Meanwhile the media is screaming and it’s now considered cool for vets etc to run over there and try their hand.
