Foreign policy and national security have been keen interests of mine for 50 years. I form my own opinions.

I care about it on the human level and because it impacts our national security.

And the reason I answer posts on here about Ukraine is that some are so disgustingly over the top ignorant and worshiping of Putin, I like to demonstrate not everyone here is crazy, and to give some support to others who are appalled by the Putin brigade.
You seem to fall in with the ones that go on and on about everything the USA ever did and then imply a moral equivalence with Putin.
I live here and don’t enjoy the luxury of pretending I’m floating in the clouds. I view things as an American.

The Ukrainians fighting against Putin’s army see it simply as “Putin is threatening our existence”.
