President Biden on Tuesday is set to announce that the Environmental Protection Agency will allow E15 gasoline—gasoline that uses a 15% ethanol blend—to be sold in the United States this summer in an effort to expand Americans’ access to affordable fuel supply amid the surge in gas prices across the nation.
The EPA is set to issue a national, emergency waiver. Without the action, the White House said E15 cannot be used in most of the country from June 1 to September 15. The EPA is expected to take final action to issue the emergency waiver closer to June 1.
Burn more corn, for the coming food shortage.

Its in common usage in many places already, I have used it myself before, havent had a problem. My car is a 2014, I wouldnt use it in my old ford pickup.
I found an old country store that sells 100% gas that I have been using since the ethanol crap was introduced in the gas. It destroyed one weed eater and I was done with it. I pay a little more but 100% is all I use in my tractor, ATV and other small engines.
BiteMe is a total idiot. We are going to have a smaller corn crop as it is anyway and now we are going to use more of it for this garbage. Progressives are dumber than a fence post.
Of course they do. But they obviously don't care.
E15 gas should NOT be used in small engines like lawnmowers, etc.
It will be interesting to watch how the station owners handle this. Unfortunately they will prolly convert the 10% ethanol pumps to use this 15% ethanol poison. And if your vehicle cannot run efficiently on E15 gas, too bad.
Bidens handlers would be much better off restarting the XL pipeline.

Biden heard that E15 comes from corn...... and he asked, “hey, how’s ole Corn Pop doin’?”
Yes, NON-Ethnoil is available at a Shell station close to my home. It is expensive but that is what I use in one of my cars that requires premium gas anyway.
That's why this move was announced to head off the disastrous inflation report this morning.
If Brandon really wanted to destroy any industries, he would have left the current rules in place and forced refineries to change to the summer fuel blends.
I can’t complain too much about the mighty Sonata, it’s the V6 version. Decent power, but nothing special. I bought it for $10.5K in 2009. It’s at 250K miles now, no significant issues and that is even after I had to put the whole right side back together after my son drove it into a light post. Still no transmission or engine issues. I’ll keep giving her the good gas.
The Big Corn interests will be celebrating the added demand. E15 might cost a small amount less for now, but there is also less energy so fuel economy drops. I expect cost per mile will go up, but since that isn’t how people measure their fuel costs this political chicanery will pass without notice for a while.
Lets not forget that with the fertilizer shortage, Ukrainian farmers out of business for the remainder of the war and a score of other problems in the world, Corn like every other ag product is increasing in price. As the price of corn goes up, so will corn derived ethanol and wipeout even the illusion of savings from E15 over E10.
I have an 2007 Honda Civic with 300k miles and no issues other than standard maintenance, although I did replace the starter three years ago.
Not to worry Comrade! All replacements will be electric and you will like it!
Plus it will reduce the quantity of regular gas and make the price even higher. California gov’t has their blend of gas they force to be produced and prices always goes up in the summer. It also causes massive pollution of water. Every gas tank at gas stations had to be dug up and replaced with better and hopefully non leaking tanks.
We use cornmeal, corn syrup ingredients for booze chips, cereals and feed
a ton on of livestock with dent corn, you against that,of course we dont eat it directly, not a good argument.
Brazil has 46000000, USA has 290000000 big difference.
