Gov. Brian Kemp (R-Ga.) was confronted over the weekend about election integrity during a Fulton County GOP event, and he responded by saying he was not responsible for Georgia's consent decree, which some Republicans claim abolished signature verification and allowed for voter fraud in the state.
"I had nothing to do with the consent decree," said Kemp, whose reelection bid faces a challenge in the Georgia Republican primary by former Sen. David Perdue, who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump.
"Kemp allowed himself to be bullied into a disastrous consent decree that effectively abolished signature verification and allowed massive voter fraud to occur throughout the state of Georgia," Trump said in his endorsement of Perdue.
"I was secretary of state for nine years," Kemp said. "I know how the process works. I didn't have anything to do with the consent decree, and so anybody that says I did, just show the proof of where my name is on that. Okay?"
Either Kemp or Perdue is likely to face off this fall against Democrat Stacey Abrams, who lost to the current governor by more than 50,000 votes in 2018.
"I know there's a lot of people that lie to people about what my powers are," Kemp said over the weekend. "I mean, I'm the governor, right? I'm not a dictator.
"I can tell you every single day serving as your governor, I have done exactly what I said I would do when I put my hand on the Bible and said I will follow the laws and the constitution of this state [and] the Constitution of the United States."

He’s done Jim.
That doesn't work for Republican voters.
The GA GOP Gov, Lt Gov, AG and SOS were all in on the Big Steal.
Same with AZ GOP Gov and AG.
The GOP legislatures of AZ, GA, MI WI and PA allowed others to change voting illegally and did nothing about it.
The Big Steal was completely bipartisan.
And it was all to get the flow of illegal aliens going again.
The Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) has been the top priority of BOTH parties for 30 years.
Sure Brian.
Your just the state janitor agreeing to which bucket to use in the broom closet.
Liar.
Flip flop all you want you rat bastard, pack your sh!t cuz you’re done as an elected official.
“Not my yob.”
Whatta bout Governator integrity?
For someone who claims he didn’t do anything, he sure put up a lot of roadblocks when the election process was questioned.
What you said... nailed it. We are dealing with evil people who have given up their soul. You can’t expect them to serve you, they took their positions in order to get passed an agenda that will make them rich and everyone else poor.
He wins the primary but loses in November-deliberately. He takes the fall saying ‘I ain’t gonna bump.’
No way Biden, Warnock & Oshoff all won in 2020 without a rigged system.
GA’s voting system is completely broken and the fat tootsie roll will be our next governor (hurl).
“So Kemp has no idea or control over what his subordinates are making legally binding commitments to.
That doesn’t work for Republican voters.”
Well to be fair, I think the Sec of State made the agreement, and he’s a separately elected official, not a subordinate of the Governor.
What’s behind all this is that they NEVER want to investigate ANY of the election shenanigans in the big cities because they’ll be called racists, etc. And they don’t want to anyway because then THEIR shenanigans will be brought to light by the Democrats (you be quiet, and we’ll be quiet.
And the wheel rolls on and on.
I think you may be on to something. They rig the primary and then he melts back under the radar until his services are needed again.
The GOP threw Georgia away, I’d say deliberately, by holding up the covid stimulus money. Now they’re gonna almost certainly have 2 dem senators and the unspeakable abrams as gov.
Uh, gee! Who is in charge of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation?
How come nothing got investigated Brian?
Riddle me this!
Kemp is apparently still NOT TO BE TRUSTED!

However, the current version of the bill also has language to remove the ban on private money and allow the State Election Board to allocate it. During the Special Committee on Election Integrity hearing this week Chairman Stan Gunter cut off public comments for seven people who had signed up – even those of us he asked on the previous day to postpone their testimony and return the next day to present. Why did he end the meeting 23 minutes early before I could expose the Zuckerberg influence on the SOS office.
At risk is our statewide effort to cover every voting precinct and early voting location with shifts of poll watchers. In Section 10 of the current version of the bill verbiage was added to OCGA 21-2-408 that will limit political parties and bodies by only allowing poll watchers and election monitors if they have a candidate whose name appears on the ballot. Why is the legislature trying to limit the ability to put more poll watchers in every precinct?

...how Gov. Brian Kemp and Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan killed SB 89 minutes before the legislature’s adjournment sine die (Latin: “without a day”) ending the 2022 session.
RINOs Kemp, Duncan Block Key Election Integrity Bill to Unseal Ballots
Thursday April 7th 2022
Excerpt:
VoterGA co-founder Garland Favorito provided details indicating Duncan’s subversive actions were taken at the request of Gov. Brian Kemp: “Our volunteers were in touch with a variety of Brian Kemp’s policy people throughout the day on Sine Die. We emphasized how important SB89 is to the voters and the Governor’s re-election. We noted that it is a win-win situation for everyone. We explained he only needed to call his good friend Geoff Duncan to ensure that SB89 got a vote. It is now clear that Kemp asked Duncan to block this key election integrity bill that would have been passed unanimously by Georgia’s Republican Senators.”
“Kemp is a bit touchy on the subject.”
They should have shown up with tar and feathers, and maybe a rope. He really, really, really needs to go away. The man is a complete coward and failure.
Where have I heard that before?
