California Legislature Advised to Prepare for sweeping effects of climate change
Times of San Diego ^ | April 10, 2022 | By Rachel Becker and Julie Cart

Painting alarming scenes of fires, floods and economic disruption, the California Legislature’s advisors released a series of reports this month that lay out in stark terms the impacts of climate change across the state.

The typically reserved, nonpartisan Legislative Analyst’s Office outlined dire consequences for Californians as climate change continues to alter most aspects of daily life. Much of the focus of the six-part series released Tuesday is detailing the economic cost as the changing climate alters where and how Californians build, grow food and protect the most vulnerable residents.

The report’s unsaid but unambiguous conclusion: Climate change could alter everything, and spare no one in California, so legislators should consider preparing for sweeping impacts.

“These hazards will threaten public health, safety, and well-being — including from life-threatening events, damage to public and private property and infrastructure, and impaired natural resources,” the analysts say in their report.

The pain, and costs, will be shared among state, regional, local, private and industry sectors, according to the report.

Scientists say it’s not too late to stop the most severe effects, although the clock is ticking.

Heh, that collection of clowns are there precisely because they were so stupid that their only avenue of income was to be come a politician. They’d take advice from a common garden slug, if the slug was wearing a hammer and sickle sweatshirt.

🧐 sweeping changes? How about those in power that caused (their claim, not mine but I’ll be like a Lib and use the issue 😂) the problem need to go! Voted out, hounded out, sued out, investigated out! That’s the big change we need!

Climate disruption is caused by climate change. Ever thought about the Low IQ Joe and the Dems destroying the American economy in just a few months with liberal ideals. It was running perfectly until Joe and Obozo’s White House Staff started running things.

The cali legislature (and their obviously useless "offices") should be forced to watch this from start to finish:

George Carlin - Save the Planet?

Ahhh yes, that old refrain.

“Ahhh yes, that old refrain.”

Yep. I remember hearing it in the 60’s.

Just the legislature? What about the Cauliphonyans and all the illegal aliens who live there? Shouldn’t they be “advised” too?

Last month we all had to sacrifice for Ukraine. This month we all must sacrifice for the weather.

California Politics is a bigger threat to California than Climate Change ever was.

Isn’t half the population now originally from climates closer to the equator and are already used to searing heat?

The California legislature needs to provide solar panels for all of the homeless tents throughout L.A. and San Francisco.

Recycle the homeless human waste into fertilizer for local gardens, and the used, homeless hypodermic needles can be used in the interiors of electric cars.

The California Legislative Analyst’s Office is encouraged to explain why greenhouse gasses like methane and CO2 fail to hold down the heat during a midday solar eclipse of an otherwise warm sunny day.
Solar eclipse 2017: How much did the temperature change during the eclipse? (non-FR; 8.22.17)

Also, is it any surprise that nighttime temperatures typically keep dropping in various places until a bit after sunrise?

Also consider the following relatively recent cold weather-related news, some of these events in California.

Corrections, insights welcome.

I’m thinking the United States that still value truth and freedom need to ‘secede’ California from this Union.

After 60 years of yammering about “climate change” and “climate catastrophe,” their only solutions are:
1) tax us trillions to force us to use less energy
2) electrify everything
3) kill all fossil energy sources, and
4) use windmills and solar farms to make that electricity.

They have proposed no other solutions. None of the above solutions work from an economic or technical feasibility perspective and are not feasible for an energy-intensive, modern economy.

They also completely ignore the rest of the world and their electrification with coal.

If the leftist / green kooks were serious about this, they would propose:
1) building a massive number of nuclear plants
2) develop a hydrogen solution for transportation (and that is very iffy)
3) accelerate fusion research
4) Admit that fossil sources are essential for making products and fertilizers

But they don’t so you have to conclude they are not serious people.

I've come to the conclusion that the California Legislature is not only socialists/communists, but they are scared of life in general. With their fear and hate of everything of value, how do they get out of bed in morning?

Bzzz goes the alarm. "Crap, just remembered I'm running out of ways to screw up California. Where's my Alinsky playbook? Why haven't I received my commie memes for today? Should I shower or not? Kale or carrots for breakfast? Life is awful and where the hell is my limo? And why am I talking to myself?"

Pure propaganda. Why do people want to live in fear? It really is a choice. Absolute fools.
