Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) on Wednesday derided the Biden family as "grifters" and "influence peddlers," as more evidence emerges of questionable business deals involving President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, and brother, James.
"They knew exactly what they were doing," Johnson told "Just the News — Not Noise." "They were using Vice President Biden's position and his name to peddle influence, and rake in, vacuum in millions of dollars from all over the world
"The Bidens are grifters. They're influence peddlers. They've made millions. They've compromised themselves, and they've compromised America's national security."
Johnson spoke on the Senate floor Tuesday with Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) about their ongoing investigation into the Biden family's shady financial connections, including partners tied to communist China and Russian oligarchs.
Hunter Biden's lawyers have repeatedly declined to answer questions or requests for comment from Just the News. Hunter Biden has acknowledged he is under criminal investigation by the U.S. Attorney's office in Delaware but denied committing any wrongdoing.
President Biden has repeatedly defended his son, most recently through his White House chief of staff Ron Klain over the weekend in an interview in which Klain said "the president's confident that his son didn't break the law."
Johnson told Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon the media performed a "limited mea culpa" after establishment outlets admitted that the Hunter Biden laptop story is real.
"I call it a modified limited hangout," he said, because the media provides "a little bit of truth to try and get by the moment."
Johnson has used the Watergate-era term "modified limited hang out" to describe the media's approach to the Biden family situation before. The phrase means to release a bare minimum of information.
"You have the corruption in their federal agencies and within the news media itself that really needs to be exposed, and people need to be aware of what's happening," he said.
Johnson pretty much nails it.
Johnson, Paul and Kennedy are the only GOP Senators worthy of re-election.
The rest are Assistant Democrats.

All true, but this was well known a year and a half ago and nobody cared, including the GOP. It was actively suppressed by the media, Facebook, Twitter, etc. with the intent of removing Trump from office and installing this crook. The GOP went along with it so why all the squawking now? I have a hard time believing they suddenly developed a conscience or care about the rule of law.

Plain and simple, Joe Biden has always been the definition of a retail politician.
We who vote GOP here in Wisconsin are happy Ron Johnson is running for another term. He supports Wisconsin as to getting federal dollars and jobs to come here. He supports policies favorable to private businesses and we who work to take care of our families.
The socialist Democrats have been running nasty attack ads against him for 2 years as they want his seat to get control of the Senate. Please back him by helping his campaign with money or pitching in to work to help him win.
