NBCUniversal says “SNL” comedian Horatio Sanz was off the clock when he allegedly groomed and sexually assaulted a teenage girl, so there’s no way the network should bear any responsibility in the case, according to new court documents.
The network says that it can’t be held liable for what the TV actor allegedly did to his 17-year-old accuser “after hours” when he “was not performing his job,” according to papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court by lawyers for NBCUniversal on Friday.
The company added that there is no evidence to show the network knew about Sanz’s “alleged predatory behavior.”

One of these days the majority of people in this country will realize the power of boycotts and put it to these big corporations and social media sites.

Was it AG Merrick Garland that said BLM riots burning Federal Buildings were acceptable because they were After-hours?
Couldn’t have been Antifa because Washington says the I don’t exist.

Don’t watch snl.
Does it lampoon Joe Biden’s attraction to minors?
he and his ilk also say that black folks have a right to do that and that it is a form of ‘artistic expression that reveals the hurt they feel deep down inside for what their long lost relatives had to go through”
End result of porn addiction. Hope he rots in prison.
Liberal leftists are only liable for failure to kill conservatives, nothing else.
The SNL of the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, does seem less liberal now in contrast with the militant leftist agenda of the current show.
Why would nbc be liable ? It’s Horatio molesting the kid not the studio.
Never heard of him.....................
Sue them anyway, either they settle or a judge tosses.
A 40+ year old man with a 17 year old girl is rather commonplace among the celebrity crowd.
If the accuser is accurate, some of this happened during cast parties and other SNL events and no one did anything to stop it.
they were just the matchmaker...
Let me see if I understand this. Horatio Sanz a ‘comedian’ on SNL and an employee of NBCUniversal sexually assaulted an underage female.
Now the female, who is not employed by nor has any relationship with NBCUniversal is suing NBCUniversal.
Boy Howdy, if this goes thru it is going to open one hell of a can of worms. Will this mean that Ford Motor Co will be liable if one of it’s employees robs a liquor store?
How long ago was this? They are just getting around to court dates now?
I haven’t paid attention to this, but on the surface, is this not the rare case of NBCUniversal actually being correct?
Since when to we go after employers for the crimes of their employees committed outside of their work roles?
The 50 year old actor who married a 16 year-old girl with giant bazoombas 8 years or so ago comes to mind.
