“You know that feeling when it hurts? I once fell in love with a boy, but he didn’t fall in love with me, and I thought it hurt. But it turned out that it hurts to see your mother die in front of you.

“My brother keeps coming up to mum, saying, ’Mummy, don’t sleep, you will freeze’.

“We will never visit her grave. She has remained in the damp and dark basement. We went to the toilet, slept, ate leftovers in the same basement.

“Once uncle Kolya caught a pigeon, and we fried it and ate it. And then we all vomited.

“Mum held on to the last, three days before our evacuation, she died. I told my brother that she was asleep and should not be awakened. But he seems to have understood it all.

“Our neighbour died, and we could not carry her outside, and she began to smell.

“When it got quiet uncle Kolya carried her out, and himself got killed on a trip wire. Mum cried a lot. After dad died uncle Kolya was the closest person.

“Corpses stink so much. They were everywhere. I covered my brother’s eyes with my mother’s scarf so that he would not see this. While we were running, I nearly vomited several times.

“I no longer believe in your God. Had he existed, we wouldn’t have suffered so much.

“My mum never, you hear, never did anything wrong. She went to church. Uncle Kolya quit smoking so that mum wouldn`t be nervous that it`s a sin. And your God took her away. The priest said my mum now serving God, but it`d be better if she were to serve him here, raising us.

“I hate Russia. My own uncle is there. Do you know what he told me on

Nobody is rooting for evil on FR nor are they the scum of the earth as you’ve stated - but there are certainly those who are emotionally and psycologically angry and reacting and posting such in ‘whatever side’ they’ve decided to take.....instead of resonable discussion.

[Just stop with the Holocaust comparisons with what is happening in Ukraine. You invoked Anne Frank to make link the two in the minds of readers. It diminishes the Holocaust’s unique evilness. It was a systematic extermination of a people using the production line model. As horrible as loss of life innocent life may be in this Ukraine/Russia war, there is nothing taking place that is following a systematic plan with special techniques, planning, equipmemt and infrastructure designed to with one goal in mind. Total extinction]

There’s nothing unique about slaughtering restive subjects, potential or actual. Alexander did it to the men of the territory he conquered, and sold the rest into slavery:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Thebes#Destruction_of_Thebes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Persian_Gate#Aftermath

The Russians conducted a couple of genocides:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circassian_genocide
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deportation_of_the_Chechens_and_Ingush

The Germans were just a lot more systematic in their efforts. And prior to the Holocaust, they did something similar in Southwest Africa:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herero_and_Namaqua_genocide#Genocide

Oddly enough, until she was betrayed by the Dutch, Anne Frank’s existence was fairly humdrum. She lived in hiding with her family for 4 years after the beginning of WWII.

Whereas the Russian invasion of Ukraine is barely a month old, and the young Ukrainian girl who wrote this diary has had her family sniped and bombed by Russians, and not only lost her mother and stepfather - she’s also had to live with their rotting bodies in the house. Your sociopathic and psychopathic narcissism aren’t necessarily exceptional, but they are disappointing.

I can read. You claiming there is no rooting is a bald faced lie. Don’t even try to refute it.

There’s too many Russkies on this forum. Russian trolls are posting at all hours of the day and night — likely a team effort.

Our country is a hot bed for BLM and insane liberals, so I guess that makes it ok for a country to invade us.

Most of Kiev proper may not be in ruins but some satellite cities are wasted. What is your interest in denying the massive destruction in the center of the Ukraine? My wife’s best friend’s elderly mom is missing there. The Russians spent massive amounts of time and effort robbing apartments ... Probably one reason they neglected proper tactics.

Nothing changes with the Russians from one generation to the next. Whether on the orders of Putin or Stalin those filthy mongols wreak destruction and destitution. The sooner that country is reduced to its original borders of the Grand Duchy of Moscow, the better.

Exactly. Russians used the “Nazi” accusation against the activists of Prague Spring in ‘68 and the Hungarian Revolt 12 years prior. In that regard, the Russians are little different than the left in this country, which pushes that same “he’s Hitler” narrative against anyone who resists their agenda.

Why stop there? Once the Ukrainians get through kicking out the Russians and destroying large quantities of their obsolete military hardware, there won't be much to stop the Chicoms from taking Russia's territory in outer Manchuria. Really there aren't any geographical barriers to China marching from the Pacific ocean to the Ural mountains.

Who’s gonna hold the Chinese back? Russia was basically the inheritor of much of the non-Muslim Mongol empire. Until the Soviet breakup, it also controlled the Muslim parts of the Mongol realm (i.e. the Central Asian stans). The Toluid line that ruled China also lay claim to the entire Mongol empire.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kublai_Khan

I’d expect every subterranean Chinese territorial claim with respect to the region to eventually emerge. Without a strong Russia, China could triple in land area by venturing into and annexing the former Russian empire east of the Urals. And that’s not counting Mongolia, which immediately becomes a Chinese province.

The Russians are as annoying as heck, but they are filling a power vacuum in much the same way that the Brits and the French occupied power vacuums in the Orient until Eisenhower sabotaged their efforts to hold on to their colonial possessions with his Suez Canal stunt, whereupon they ditched them and the military capacity they maintained to hold on to those possessions in their entirety. After which Uncle Sam had to take on the entire weight of balancing the Russian bear in the region and around the world.

Think if Joe and Hunter were not in Putin’s sphere via $3.5 million from Moscow this diary would never have been written?

he has also ruined the image of Russians

the amount of damage Putin is doing to RUSSIA is incredible (forget about his horrors in Ukraine)
