The infighting within the GOP establishment leadership continues.
Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.), who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), is shaking heads within party circles by continuing to push a controversial policy agenda even when Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has refrained from putting out a legislative program ahead of the 2022 midterms.
Scott’s activities have earned him flak from Senate Republican leaders, who fear his “Rescue America” agenda gives Democrats ammunition to attack the party in what is otherwise an opportune year for the GOP to pick up seats.

How about starting the call for impeachment ?
Rick Scott is a phoney.
He is calling for a tax hike.
In my recurring nightmare, Mo Howard grabs Roy Blunt’s nose with a pliers, drag him to one of the many cells under the Capitol, tosses him in, strips him down and turns on the fire sprinklers. He checks in on him weekly, but no food. Zero food for Blunt. Nada. Some water yes, but zip on the food.
The call for impeachment should be held for the propitious moment. The Democrats will finally accede to the proposition that under terms of the 25th Amendment, Joe should step down (for the good of the country, of course). Then, we have only “Que mala” Harris to contend with, and the case against HER will proceed with all alacrity.
That said, rolling out an agenda FOR some marked improvement over the current regime is an altogether worthy course of action. The Republicans have to run on something other than “We’re not Democrats” if they hope to make significant inroads on the undecided non-partisan “middle” voters. For once, a picture of how it ought to be, and not just a negative picture of how bad things are now.
Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative, don’t mess with Mr. In-Between. Just get him well-disposed toward you.
Good to continue and reinforce in our minds what your priorities are. Not US.
