Succession preceded Little Green Men. CNN history 101 is worthless. Get your money back.

Putin and a retired Russian Admiral Igor Kasatonov both admitted the little green men were Spetsnaz.

On 17 April 2014, President Putin admitted publicly for the first time that Russian special forces were involved in the events of Crimea, for the purposes of protecting local people and creating conditions for a referendum. Later, he admitted that the Russian Armed Forces had blocked the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Crimea during the events.

In April 2015, retired Russian Admiral Igor Kasatonov [ru] said that the "little green men" were members of Russian Spetsnaz special forces units. According to his information, Russian troop deployment in Crimea included six helicopter landings and three landings of Ilyushin Il-76 with 500 troops

I ignored nothing. I don't expect the maker of a documentary themselves to come forward and say they're only presenting one side.

I do expect someone who is recommending a documentary to others, as has been done here for Stone's documentary, to say whether it is biased or not. If they don't, then it's fair to say they're a shill for the only side that is represented in the documentary.

Hope that clears things up, you shill.

Exactly - Putin rather proudly and publicly admitted that. And yet, you still have some people pretending that what happened in Crimea was some kind of spontaneous people’s revolution.

The minute anyone mentions 'but Azov?!!1!!!one!', it shows that they are either a Russian bot or a useful idiot, it's just a dog whistle and nothing more.

Dog whistles are the true sign of intellectual laziness.

Only left-wing democidal psychopaths are on the same side as George Soros.

The vote against Russia was 424-8 in the House. Everybody is on “that side” except a few fringe crazies. Go ahead and strap on that suicide vest in support of Putinist Russia if you wish. Just don’t be surprised when everybody else doesn’t, too.

I did a search for <censored> in comments and you seemed to be the first one to mention it. To avoid also being a "bot or useful idiot" I have censored the term in my own reply...whew.

why did Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk secede after the Color Revolution overthrow of Democratically Elected Yanukovich?

I don't know but I thought you were very pretty in The Brady Bunch.

Marsha was kind of slutty but you seemed very nice.

Go Jan!

I am very pro-Israel but if you watch “Exodus”, you will see how Propaganda on both sides of the fence is very common in this part of the world.
Now that the MSM is working hard to shape world opinion, its now everywhere.

--- "Sure, you could argue there are “multiple sides”, or at least certainly multiple parties and interests. But at it's core, the issue of whether Ukraine or Russia should have control of the disputed areas is generally an either/or outcome."

At it's core, it is about which influences are in charge and have control of "disputed" areas. There are two levels, nested. In 2016, when the film was made during the Obama administration, and given the Obama "color revolutions" which he sparked, the land areas were an issue, but which "parties and interests" controlled them was the underlying.

Currently, this seems to me about Putin, Biden and the EU as among those parties as well as the oligarchs. "Pick one" from two offered isn't a solvable problem.

By way of parallel, the US is currently about the insanity of Democrat Party rule, assisted by American oligarchs aplenty, whereas we conservatives would overturn them in a moment, if we could. Pardon the rhetorical question, but...

Which America would you and I choose? If we're talking about bounded borders, we would chose one because there only is one. But we sure as hell wouldn't choose Biden's.

Not a single Ukrainian offering an opposing view was interviewed. It's the very definition of one-sided propaganda that doesn't even attempt to look at both sides.

You can watch the Frontline's "Putin's Road to War" to get the other-sides view. Victoria Nuland and Brennan figure prominently and are not challenged.

That’s fine. If you’re going to watch one of those, it’s best to watch one from both sides so you.<p

I generally don’t have the patience to watch videos, and prefer to read different sources instead.
