Russia no longer demanding Ukraine be ‘denazified’ in ceasefire talks

Russia is no longer requesting Ukraine be “denazified” and is prepared to let Kyiv join the EU if it remains military non-aligned as part of ongoing ceasefire negotiations, according to four people briefed on the discussions.

Moscow and Kyiv are discussing a pause in hostilities as part of a possible deal that would involve Ukraine abandoning its drive for Nato membership in exchange for security guarantees and the prospect to join the EU, the people said under the condition of anonymity because the matter is not yet finalised.

The draft ceasefire document does not contain any discussion of three of Russia’s initial core demands — “denazification”, “demilitarisation”, and legal protection for the Russian language in Ukraine — the people added.

Envoys from both sides are to meet in Istanbul on Tuesday in a fourth round of peace talks designed to end president Vladimir Putin’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The concessions on Russia’s side come as its month-long ground offensive has largely stalled as a result of fiercer Ukrainian resistance than expected and Russian operational deficiencies.

But Ukraine and its western backers remain sceptical of Putin’s intentions, worrying that the Russian president could be using the talks as a smokescreen to replenish his exhausted forces and plan a fresh offensive.

Personally, I think there are facts on the ground remaining to be sorted out before negotiations become real. There is more fighting to be done, more land to be lost or gained or regained. We shall see.

PS, in case nobody knows, his family gave him to a Nazi and he happily went along to confiscate others Jews property.

Being a Jew does not mean you are not a Nazi scumbag. The Jews were convenient for the Nazis. Were it not Jews, it would have been some other group. Hutu Tutsi thing.

Expand your brain just a teensy bit.

Don’t eat anyone’s crap sandwich an say yummy. Propaganda is propaganda no matter where it comes from.

THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS IN THIS WAR!!!

Ukraine, Russia, NATO... not a one of them. Evil bastards one and all.

No.

That was Russia’s stated goal from day one no Ukraine NATO membership. It has been a point since 1994. That is what the war in 2014 was about and we expressly promised them no Ukraine NATO membership but outright lied because we were also supposed to stay out of the place but actually even prided ourselves with all the weapons we were bringing in, special forces training Ukrainians... Then last October Biden gave the green light for exactly that, Ukraine admission to NATO.

Russia is concerned that the US and NATO forces are in Ukraine.

There are major roads that lead into Russia. Numerous rail lines that are the same gauge. Ukraine has numerous airfields which could support big strategic bombers or heavy lift. Ukraine is connected in the West to Poland and Romania with easy logistics. With a lot of space and forest it’s easy to hide things, and with a solid infrastructure they can sustain a big foreign force indefinitely. Ukraine would have a significant impact on Russia’s nuclear deterrant capabilities both because of a first strike but also boost phase missile defense. 6 minutes time of flight to Moscow with a high speed missile. It puts Moscow in an unacceptable security predicament.

Ukraine already was a special economic zone for the EU. That was never the issue.

The truth is the other way around.

This is a war we instigated by making promises to the Russians we broke. It’s a war where we made promises to the Ukraine we don’t want to really pay the ante for by escalating the war today (only smart thing we did). It is a war Ukrainians will pay the real price for (economic disaster, displaced people, deaths) and the outcome will be 100% what the Russians have wanted all along: no Ukraine NATO membership.

But we will define it as a victory. We always do!

You are clueless. https://twitter.com/EVERONA97/status/1508168013937319950?s=07

These people have regular memorials to German Nazis like Rudolph Hess.

They have coffee and food items named after Stepan Bandera.

They had city council meetings where they close with a song about Bandera their father, and a few years ago he was named the Hero of Ukraine officially.

In the Kiev art museum was a painting of a Jew beneath a pig entitled “Jew with pig”.
The Kiev library had monthly meetings to talk about Bandera.
Look him up.

And on Twitter visit @edolinsky

Yes.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Battalion

When the CIA went looking for some group that was willing to fight a proxy war for us once again, we ran into these guys.

Just Google “Azov battalion.”

Ignorance of reality don’t change it. And truth really can be stranger than fiction. From where we sit, it sure does sound absurd.

And now you know where some of our Javelins went. Hahaha

Jewish human rights groups have had these Ukrainian Nazi’s on their radar for years.

After WWII, all the way into the 60s the Soviets had to deal with these folks. Eventually, they beat them into submission, but the ideology lived on.

All over the internet, Ukrainians are peppering Russian websites with comments like “Go home invaders! You are not wanted here! This is our land! You will only fertilize our soil.”
