Howdy, Kathy.
Did you get a nice, long sleep? Maybe kick back a bit today? You had a long, rough week and a break is well-deserved.
Good evening, radu...time to spruce up the museum? Opening has to be coming soon.
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
God Bless our military men and women who have given their all.
Thanks, unique.
Hey there, Kathy.
Yes, sprucing up the museum has begun and I can hardly move right now. LOL We’ve acquired a LOT of new stuff from a small museum close by that recently closed down. A couple of the guys have been working on that stuff the past few weeks and today a couple of others and I were asked to go up to help.
They pulled a bunch of uniforms out of boxes and I took them upstairs to put garment bags on them and hang them up. TOO many trips up and down those stairs and I feel every one of them. LOL
But it was a lot of fun and we have more work days ahead. We’ll reopen the weekend after Easter and there’s still quite a bit to be done.
And a lot of new items I need to learn about.
And the rain is warm enough to help melt more snow!
Almost 3/4 of my driveway is now down to asphalt. Lots of ice still to go, but it’s going.
THANKS...WORKING SOME TODAY AND SOME TOMORROW ON CATCHING UP. ONE OF MY JOBS IS ANSWERING REQUESTS FOR DUPLICATE W-2s. NOW IS PANIC/TAX TIME FOR THOSE THAT CHANGE THEIR ADDRESSES AND WONDER WHY THEY DIDN’T GET THEIR W-2. REQUESTS ARE ROLLING IN.
Keep the Lord’s Day in the Lord’s way.
A blessed Fourth Sunday in Lent [Laetare](Western)/Sunday of the Cross (Orthodox) to all!
Good evening, Mayor, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
Thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Hope you got some good rest and your back is behaving. Any signs of spring yet?
A couple get-ups. My neck was not happy, so ibuprofen let me sleep a bit better. And a quick trip to the office to print and mail a couple checks.
Good evening, lightman, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.
And a blessed Fourth Sunday in Lent [Laetare](Western)/Sunday of the Cross (Orthodox).
ANOTHER EXCELLENT POST.
I was a hard, proud, stiff necked man who didn’t bother G-D
with my troubles or ask for any help.
Then I found myself one day utterly crushed, alone and with absolutely no one else to turn to. I prostrated myself to G-d, with my face on the ground, and begged for help. I didn’t bargain, I didn’t try to make a deal, I begged for for mercy despite my lack of merit. I begged...and from G-D’s abundant loving kindness mercy was granted me far beyond even a pious man’s merit. Within days, a week perhaps, my desperate prayer, my pleading, had been answered for the good. I was not saved in the sense that I was made whole again, I was not made whole AGAIN because I was never whole to begin with! I was humbled, and MADE AWARE of G-D’s loving kindness, mercy, power and majesty.
WAS I MADE WHOLE?
NOT COMPLETELY, BUT MORE THAN I WAS. MY PRIDE, MY FALSE PRIDE WAS CRUSHED. I’VE NEVER MISSED IT. GONE TOO, IS MY STIFF NECK ALONG WITH MY ARROGANT DISTANCE FROM G-D, IN WHOM I NOW PLACE ALL HOPE. I TRY TO WALK IN HIS WAYS (IT’S NOT LIKE HE KEEPS THEM SECRET). I STUMBLE NOW AND THEN, BUT HE’S THERE TO CATCH ME BEFORE I FALL. I’M NEVER ALONE. I DON’T HESITATE TO ASK HIM FOR HELP.
AS I SAID, THAT WAS ANOTHER EXCELLENT POST.
THANK YOU.
We just can’t escape those get-ups, can we? LOL
So your neck’s s till giving you grief, is it? Bummer. I hoped it had calmed down by now.
At least you didn’t have to drive through snow to get to the office today. Now if they’d just fill in those potholes so it wouldn’t take forever to get there and back.
LOL! From the sound of things, we could both use one of those right now.
Howdy, luvie.
Have the winds finally calmed down so y’all aren’t choking on blowing sand?
They were wild here today and even stronger up on the mountain.
