FBI field office backtracks on party hailing Ketanji Brown Jackson
Washington Examiner ^ | March 24, 2022 | Tori Richards

The FBI’s Los Angeles office had scheduled a celebration for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's Supreme Court nomination until a media outlet publicized the event from information gleaned from a leaked internal email.

“Save the date … a dynamic interview, socialization and lots of celebrating with desserts!” read a flyer contained in a March 11 email circulated to all employees. The Wednesday party was going to be hosted by the FBI’s women’s and black affairs committees.

But after coverage this week by the Washington Free Beacon and Tucker Carlson Tonight, FBI brass clamped down on the party. The Diversity and Inclusion Department sent out an email, saying: "The FBI must remain neutral in all political nomination and confirmation processes.

Accordingly, a party for any nominee in FBI space would be inappropriate.”

Masks optional?

Well, she wants to use the courts as a weapon and wants to overthrow the government, so of course the FBI is pretty excited.

I am glad the FBI must remain neutral in all political nomination and confirmation processes. I would hate to see what they would do if they were partisan.

“...Diversity and Inclusion Department...”

All those FedGov morons need is a simple Personnel Dept, and no HR Dept, either.

Why in the heck is a political confirmation part of an FBI function? It’s none of their GD business. I’d suspend anyone involved in that without pay for six months.

Settle down, boys and girls. It just goes to show if you have a guy in the Oval Office who never was approved or elected by the people.. granted, he WAS chosen by Facebook, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, AND the FBI. So, just settle down, we’re going to have a black person, who doesn’t know if the identity if a man or woman, and has horrible jurist record..but it was the choice of Facebook, the New York Times, and the Washington Post, and the FBI. Get used to it.

Can anyone think of a reason why the FBI shouldn’t be disbanded?

I think they probably meant ‘socializing’.

I’m sure we face dangers from ‘fascists’; but we face even more from sheer ignorance Peter-principled into positions above its ability.

Well, the 'party' is still hailing KBJ. The democrat party, that is.

Mostly because, she fit the democrats' requirements, and those of the White House, that being that, she's black and a woman. Other than that, there are millions of lawyers in the U.S., and thousands of judges, that have better professional qualifications and more experience and better experience. Heck, she happens to be a woman and a black one at that, which is the same criteria that democrats used to GIVE Kamala the vice-presidency. That's all about democrats buying the black vote, and not about professional qualifications. Kamala and KBJ, both reflecting how damaging the affirmative action of democrats can be.
