Disney has been facing both internal and external backlash for CEO Bob Chapek not doing enough to fight Florida’s Parental Rights in Education bill, which blocks educators from discussing gender identity or sexual orientation with students in third grade or below.
On Monday, Chapek told employees about the company’s plan for the task force.
“We know the moment requires urgency – and words are not enough,” said Chapek, according to a recording of his remarks obtained by Reuters. “So we are taking some actions right now.”
According to Reuters, “The company said the task force will enlist the help of experts to develop a concrete plan to ensure Disney is ‘a force for good’ for LGBTQ+ communities, especially children and family.”
The report states that the task force will be led by Paul Roeder, senior vice president of communications for the Studios, and Lisa Becket, senior vice president of global marketing for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.

If Disney actually attempts to indoctrinate young children in homosexual perversion, it will be the ruination of the company. The Left may have reached its pinnacle in America. People are not only repulsed and disgusted by the policies that are ruining the country, but they are also becoming infuriated by the cultural degeneracy. There will be a backlash and it will be more than politicians that will suffer and perish.
It’s all so very sad to me. Disney was relatively wholesome and patriotic and I’ve taken my 4 kids to Disneyland once a year for the last 22 years (my first kid was born 25 years ago and my last kid has one more trip with us before she graduates from high school—our family tradition). End of an era for me but clearly just at the right time.
Good memories though. Disneyland (like the beach) was something we all could enjoy at any age.
So sickening.
