Russia has lost up to 28,000 soldiers killed and wounded during three weeks of fighting in Ukraine, the US believes, as Vladimir Putin's invasion stalls 'on all fronts' but shelling of cities including Kyiv continues.
The Pentagon estimates at least 7,000 Russian troops have now died in the fighting while another 14,000 to 21,000 have been wounded - accounting for nearly a fifth of the estimated 150,000 men that Putin amassed on the border before giving the order to attack 21 days ago.
The staggering toll is roughly double NATO losses in Afghanistan over two decades of fighting, and roughly equal to US casualties in the 36-day battle of Iwo Jima - one of the bloodiest clashes in the Pacific during the Second World War.

I knew this was from the Daily Mail before I finished reading the headline.
Propaganda would be much more effective were it just a bit more subtle.
People generally do not take lightly to their homeland being invaded, and will fight like hell to defend same. There are exceptions, of course: The French in 1940.
The Ukrainian insurgency will attrit the orcs further. If the Kremlin mongoloid KGB thug “thinks” butchering civilians with missile strikes will further his cause, he’s badly mistaken.

Amen to that. The invading orcs are just following their chief mongoloid’s orders. The Ukrainians are fighting for their country, their homes and their families.
LOL. Ukraine yesterday announced a “massive counterattack on all fronts” which materialized in forms of one shelling and two small armored columns, all destroyed.
Two more “counterattacks” and they are done.
As sated earlier, Steiner’s attack will fix everything.

Is there any reason to believe this? I recall the nightly tallies that Cronkite used to relate about Vietnam. The Vietcong always lost ten times the US casualties. Not credible then certainly doubtful now.
No need to throw American blood or treasure at this dumpster fire.
Casualty count seems awful high but there is no doubt at all that this isn’t working out how Putin had planned.
