“There have to be harsh consequences when you invade your neighbors.”
Unless you are Mexico.
Im sure the irony will continue to be lost on the Z-fanboi’s.

They have no answer for that.
IvanPresto “NATO expanded from 12 nations to 30 nations, arriving at Russia’s doorstep in the Ukraine in 2014.”
Russia has been at NATO’s doorsteps since 1999 - so your statement is bull
Russia has bordered NATO since 1999.
In fact a part of Russia - Kaliningrad - now is surrounded by NATO countries yet Putin withdrew missiles and troops from there knowing fully that NATO would not threaten it in any way.
NATO is no threat to Russia - Russia is a constant threat to its non-NATO neighbors

In March Russia controlled 27% of Ukrainian land mass - today it controls 15% of Ukraine.
Situation on 24th March
and on 4th December
Putin has lost - but he will still kill thousands of Russian men just because he doesn't want to leave
IMO, the assignation of ‘unprovoked’ is dubious. NATO played UKR for years as a possible treaty entrant that virtually threw it in RUS’s face. The US, since the Monroe Doctrine would not allow adversary encroachment on its borders and I’d expect nothing less than the same sentiment
Finally, I don’t give a rat’s ass patootie about UKR and their plight. Not my fight, not my son or daughter’s lives or my tax money supporting this Zelenski nonsense.
Spzzdy did this. Along with the zealot UMCmom.....
There are a lot of stories out that are incorrect, such as
1. NATO “provoked Russia” by “expanding east” - this is false as
a. the countries that joined after 1991 like Poland, the Baltics etc. joined because they feared Russia would invade a non-NATO country (and Russia proved them right in 2008 and 2014/2022)
b. there was no “promise” made not to “expand east” - the only promise made in 1989 to allow for German reunification was for no NATO troops in East Germany. There was no idea that the USSR would collapse
2. NATO was bringing in Ukraine — again false, there was no move for that. Germany and France vetoed it in 2008 and would veto it again, for fear of “provoking Russia”
3. Russia has “legitimate concerns” not to have NATO on its doorstep — Russia already HAD NATO on its borders since 1997. And the Baltics are far closer to St. Petersburg and Moscow than Kyiv is
4. NATO was a belligerent power - again false - NATO was moribund until Putin started his invasion. He’s reinvigorated it.
“fuels the conflict” — it doesn’t “fuel the conflict” - it provides weapons for Ukraine to defend itself against Russia. Ukraine has not launched any artillery or missile attacks on Russia at any stage during this war.
“resolve it” — the resolution is exactly as Sanna Marin said “the war can be resolved if Putin leaves Ukraine”
Yawn.
