Consumer prices continue to soar on everyday necessities such as gas and food.
Americans overwhelmingly support the White House's proposed ban on Russian oil, though they remain very critical of President Joe Biden's handling of the economy, in general, and inflation, in particular, according to a new ABC News/Ipsos poll. Over the past several months, Americans' wallets have been hit by skyrocketing inflation, and now, Biden is feeling that crunch in his approval numbers. Seventy percent of Americans disapprove of his handling of inflation.

THIS — a THOUSAND TIMES THIS - the dumb and stupid short sighted morons among us — they voted for it, and they deserve every ounce of pain. They also deserve to learn a very hard lesson — that there are people far meaner than Trump in this world.
These damn “hate has no home here” signs ...I’d like to kick them all in right now. So spitting mad over all of this I could just scream.
A concern I have is that BeijingBiden will do what Fauci did when he (f) funded gainofFunction by passing money thru a 3rd party — which, magically makes it not his fault.
I suspect (because everything out of this WHouse has been a lie so far) that the Russian oil will be sold to a 3rd party and then on to the US. This is good for BB since he can virtue signal about punishing Russia while also holding himself up as the hero since he managed to buy oil (at marked up $$, of course) for the US market.
Oil is oil. I imagine China and others would buy the Russian oil that we boycotted. Whether or not some of that oil ended up here indirectly, I doubt we would accomplish much more than hurting ourselves.

Oddly I do not support an embargo of oil from Russia though it funds its war machine. Oil is fungible on the world market though they sell it to the USA, China etc. It is a world commodity. In fact the huge increase in oil prices due to the Biden’s idiocy has in effect increased funds for Putin’s war machine.
If you want to hurt Putin increase our production to the max and lean on Saudi, UAE, Oman, Nigeria, Indonesia, even Iran and Venezuela to increase production. This will lead to economic collapse of Russia.
