I guess no one remembers the sudden respiratory vitamin blamed on vapes like a month or two before covid was all the rage.

There has been an increase in pleurisy as a result of vaping. An old lung disease more common in American revolutionary times.
They decide what is good for us.
They believe they know what is good. They believe lying to accomplish their goals is acceptable "for the greater good".
Not incidentally, this gives the more power and money.
I would say they aren’t progressive, in any meaningful sense of the word.
Vaping seems to have gone the path of the Pet Rock. I haven’t seen one in months.

I’ve been vaping since May 2009. They instantly got me to quit a 30-year smoking habit.
If there were any adverse effects (Other than obnoxious taxation), I’d think they would have happened by now.

“Vaping” is a stupid expensive fad and it’s just as bad for your health as smoking. It’s primarily pitched to youth because youth are stupid.
Also, anybody who looks to the CDC for real information about anything is stupid.
Well I suppose it beats eating Tide Pods.
I would rather they eat cyanide. Problem solved.
FWIW, I’ve had pleurisy and few things in my life have caused more pain. Imagine a sharp, agonizing pain with each breath. Imagine not being able to breathe at all if you lie down. Consider feeling like you’re drowning for four days waiting for the antibiotics to kick in.
