Following Bennett's talks with Putin and Zelensky, Israeli officials say Russia has softened demands, but will likely double down on destructive assault if no capitulation
Israel believes Ukraine is at a critical crossroads and must decide between a "difficult" truce offer presented by Russia or risk a new, far more destructive phase in the war, reporters briefed by government officials said Tuesday.
Axios and Maariv both reported similar details on Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's recent conversations with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as he has attempted to mediate between the sides.
Bennett has reportedly not presented either leader with an Israeli ceasefire proposal, and is sufficing with passing along messages from one leader to the other, the officials said, crediting Bennett for helping clarify Putin's position to Zelansky and the West...

If they surrender than they will be a slave state with no possibility of ever becoming free. As a result, the population will plummet as people immigrate to other nations.
The population dropped by seven million in the past three years. How many of the refugees will go home regardless of what happens now?
I think you could make the argument about the USA too.
Uke military is wiped out except for scattered bands, but there is no Uke army in action. Azov screwed up and got caught in a classic encirclement that happened dozens of times in WWII. General Paulus got caught in one.
And there is no resupply or relief of Azov by air.
Our experts are upset that they Russians aren’t rolling in and trying to take cities.
Or maybe Putin gets his head blown off by one of his generals.
I’m hoping for that option.
Zelensky didn’t receive a billion + in overseas accounts to capitulate, he will fight to the last Ukrainian for his globalist masters.

What do you base that on, besides a hunch and “Putin Bad!”?
“Live to fight another day.” (Within reason.)
A cheap labor victory for global business interests.
The adults entered the room and spoke.
You might want to pay attention.
This isn’t over.
Besides, I’m looking forward to the Ukrainians attacking targets inside Russia. Why should Ukrainian civilians be the only ones to suffer? Let the Russians feel some pain for what Pidor Putin is doing.
You sound like Hitler in the bunker, ordering non-existent divisions into actions, hoping for a wonder weapon, maybe a Russian General will shoot Putin... something, ANYTHING.
It’s all gonna be ok. Neocons needed this pimp slap.
How long will Putin fight for his globalist masters?
“What do you base that on, besides a hunch and “Putin Bad!”?”
I don’t know what the original poster based his comment on; but perhaps it is the fact that so many Ukrainians do not like Russians (indeed, many deeply hate them), and don’t want to live under their yoke, especially after they invaded and destroyed their country.
The choice is easy: Be an American puppet state or a Russian puppet state.
I’m really on the edge of my seat on how this turns out.
Prigozhin’s troll army entered the room, spread some lies as usual, and then made a feeble attempt to silence dissent.
Whoop-de-doo.
Or remain a neutral buffer which is the obvious choice.
Israel are Putinistas! Spouting communist garbage! Bennet is a Putin Puffer!
“What do you base that on, besides a hunch and “Putin Bad!”?”
Is there any political freedom in Russia? For example, what happens to people who say on TV or write articles unfavorable to Putin? (Hint, they end up dead.) Given that, how much freedom will be available for people in captive countries? How financially successful can non Putin connected people be in countries that are controlled by Russia? If you’re a successful farmer, for example, what are the odds you’ll be allowed to export to a higher price buyer if Russia says you must sell to Russia at...of course, the price they set?
Putin is the one hiding in a bunker and cowering four meters away from his own generals. What a pathetic, fearful little man he is.
