Wouldn’t it be nice if our elected officials were as concerned about the people who elected them? My dad sent me a photo today, diesel where he lives in east Texas is $4.69 per gallon. It was $2.88 when I was back there over Christmas. This is going to cause a lot of pain, especially for lower income and fixed income people, and yet Biden has his heels dug in against producing oil and gas. I I don’t disparage Cruz for supporting Ukraine, but who is fighting for us? But I am sure they look at the pain as a campaign issue to help them win in November.
