Q: What moves could the United States make beyond sanctions right now that would help protect Ukraine?
A: The most important move now is for the president to announce Vladimir Putin is a war criminal. Really. This gives enormous diplomatic leverage and a greater incentive to help the campaign.
... Q: You advocate a no-fly zone?
A: Absolutely. The airspace belongs to Ukraine. If they ask for help, why can’t we fly airplanes in there? Say, oh, it’s because of the Russians, they might come up and contest it. That’s the Russians’ problem. They’re going to get shot down. Okay, then what? Putin says he’s going to use a nuclear weapon. If we back away from that challenge, if we don’t confront it, this is like a two-pair poker bluff, for incredibly high stakes.

Wesley Clark, the guy who almost started WWIII in Kosovo. He needs to just stay quiet.
Wonder what perfume Wesley is wearing today.
WW3 here we go
Ol’ Weasley weighs in.
Thank you! Saved me the time.
Speaking of Wesley Clark...David Petraeus was on Jesse Watters last night offering his view. What the heck was that about.
Is that moron still alive? Does he know it?
“Mr. President, I’m not saying we wouldn’t get our hair mussed. But I do say no more than ten to twenty million killed, tops. Uh, depending on the breaks.”
Wasn’t Clark one of the masterminds behind the terror bombing of Serbia?
Good Lord, the neocon fools are going to lap this up. We are well and truly screwed.
Clark ordered troops to attack the Russian soldiers who were guarding Pristina Airport. Luckily his orders were not obeyed.
Another Democrat General.
Imho, Clark is a Richard cranium who almost started WWIII with Ivan in 1992.
Russians besiege crucial Ukrainian energy hub and seacoast
Doesn’t look like the end of Putin unless all of NATO goes to war with him
Don’t like the guy, but...
He has a couple of valid points
The airspace does belong to Ukraine.
We should not fall for Putin’s bluff about nuclear weapons. It would mean the end of Russia and Putin’s ambitions to reestablish the Soviet Union.
Failing to act opens up more areas/countries that Putin could set his sights on, and then, we could be bluffed on those countries too.
Putin’s exploits need to end, otherwise, we’d be doing this takeover-and-bluff for many more years.
And Democrats hate Putin only for one reason, he “Stole” the election from Hillary.
Beat me to it.
