Is this author a teenage girl? Propaganda has been part of warfare for all of recorded history.
If you look at some of the politicians engaging in this (Kitzinger, Rubio, haven't watched Fox news so I don't know how much Graham is pushing), you have raise an eyebrow.
And the elephant no one seems to talk about: Biden cancels drilling leases domestically while still purchasing oil from Russia. And no mideadt pipeline. Just a year and a half ago, the US was exporting energy.
The amount of agitprop, including on this site, is nauseating.

I don’t watch the news, but I was interested in the wild Ukrainian Pilot who shot down a half dozen Russian planes in one day.
I saw it, so I figured I’d go back and read about it. As an aviation enthusiast, that would be an impressive record in the jet age.
So I got busy, and the “48 Hour Rule” automatically kicked in (make no judgements on news until 48 hours have passed) and when I got around to looking at it, was amused to find out it was not true.
OTOH, as I took the time to review the news, much of it sounded like state propaganda that has been put out by governments for centuries, even if updated for the digital media age.
It was disconcerting to me to read the propaganda, and see it as such right off the bat with no effort at all. There is something about the themes and language that has commonality with propaganda we have seen in the past.
Putin is at 4% support in the US. Let’s all strap on suicide bombs and support him. Conservatism didn’t advance substantively from Reagan to Trump. 30 years. I can’t imagine why.
I don’t trust 99.9999999999999999999999999999% of what I hear, see, smell, whatever from 99.99999999999% of so-called media outlets. Liberal, conservative, whatever, they all have their own personal agendas, thus the lies fly.
Except Ukraine has no aircraft carriers. 🤣

This does nothing to instill trust in the system. That said, Civilians are off limits!

The U.S.S. Franklin, March, 1945. The ship coming along side is the light cruiser U.S.S. Santa Fe. My late Uncle Dave was a Seaman 3rd class/gunners mate on that ship.
He survived the war only to be killed in a construction accident. Always thought that was unfair.
