Sea levels rising 10 feet? Call me when that happens.

Bingo! They've been making this same prediction for decades, and keep extending the time frame, which is why they're forced to say "All signs point to (the eventuality that)..."

In other words, this 'dire prediction' is really old news...

"Part of the weights actually extends out over the ocean. So part of the ice is floating on top of the ocean water, and part of it's located over land."

Well, guess what, Mr. Climate Change Alarmist: When floating ice melts, sea levels remain the same.

As for the part over land, don't worry because the middle of Antarctica has GAINED ice mass, so there's that.

Good thing its staying cold down there in Antarctica and building up more ice.

https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/09/weather/weather-record-cold-antarctica-climate-change/index.html

From CNN no less! Oh yes, and the record cold is of course due to global warming in the bizarro world they live in.

YEP

“All signs point to-

If our ice shelf-

probably within our lifetime-

sea level rise is maybe 50 or 100 or more- years out, but

what looks to be an impending unavoidable rising sea level”

Lots of vague unfounded suggestions

I predict the US will be bankrupt before any of Obama’s waterfront mansions are flooded.

And just what are humans supposed to do to stop it from breaking off? I’ve got some long drywall screws, but it’s gonna take more than that to hold this baby together.

They could give everyone a bucket. Put the extra water in special tanks for storage.

Well, obviously, destroy all internal combustion engines and gotta go totally wind and solar energy. Also find a way for lots of people to die off as quickly as possible to lighten the load, shall we say. Also give all your money to your local Communists and make a big show out of it and pat yourself on the back for your virtuous example.

That'll make that glacier freeze back up and stay put forever.

I can’t wait for all the ice to melt. A warm planet is a happy planet and it would flood Obama house.

Oh no Russia, Russia, Russia, opps, wrong thread, oh well it doesn’t matter.

Upside, I won’t have to drive as far to get to the beach.

All those beach houses and condos will become fish habitats.

All the expensive houses on Mathas Vineyard will be lost.

The numbers we get from the biased left are inflated.

How about an unbiased person doing the math? The part that is now under water, when melted, will produce a lower volume of water than the current volume of ice/snow. What is that volume?

What temperature rise would be needed to melt ALL the surface ice/snow?

I don’t know.

They missed a decimal. Sea levels will rise 100 feet. I know this to be true. Please donate to my Swiss bank account, and I will tell you my secret how you can profit off this 100 foot sea level rise and become a multi millionaire. Honest. Why would I lie?

I don’t believe there is either.

Plus, part of the glacier is already in the water so any melting will not add any significant rise in sea levels, any more than an ice cube in a drink will cause the cup to overflow when it melts.
