Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said on this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday” that Russian President Vladimir Putin seemed “erratic,” adding he had an “ever-deepening, delusional rendering of history.”

Rice said, “Vladimir Putin expected an easy win here. He thought he would waltz into the capital, into Kyiv, in his own delusional rendering of history, Ukrainians and Russians are the same, and he would overthrow this government and might even be welcomed as a liberator. And of course, the reality has been something quite different.”

None of us do. But if Putin invaded Ukraine knowing that he would get this amount of armed resistance, public dissent at home and the condemnation he's getting internationally, he really is as delusional as Rice says.

You have proposed the correct question. The Russians have missed on every objective. They lost their best paratroops over Kiev when their transports were shot down. They are short of fuel and food as their convoys are being attacked.

My friends are seeing live Russian conscripts surrendering their mechanized transport. These are sad assed kids from small villages in Russia. Dirty, hungry, demoralized. The Ukrainians arrest them and make them call their parents back in Russia, then give them a square meal.

Meanwhile Ukrainian citizens are making meals for the Ukrainian soldiers and giving them blankets and any kind of support they can, My Step daughter is helping make Molotov Cocktails and distributing them.
