Ukraine uses Javelins against Russian tanks in Sumy region

Near the town of Hlukhiv, Sumy region, Ukrainian troops used Javelin anti-tank missile systems and neutralized a convoy of Russian tanks.

“Near the town of Hlukhiv, Sumy region, the military used Javelin anti-tank missile systems and neutralized a column of Russian equipment. Fifteen T-72 tanks,” the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

As reported, head of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin announced the beginning of a special military operation in Donbas.

At about 04:00, February 24, Russia attacked Ukraine and launched war.

The T-72 is really old tech. The M1A1 Abrams took them out like they were swatting flies.

Load them down with Stingers, Javelins, M2 Brownings, sniper rifles, grenades, and even some Abrams tanks and Apache choppers. We should also be giving them intelligence from our satellites.

We should do it as a Lend-Lease. We give ‘em the weapons, and they pay us with free visas for displaced Ukrainaian women. ~wink

He won’t get dangerous enough to want to make an irradiated and depopulated Russia China’s westernmost province. He’s looking to add notches to his belt - add “the Great” to his name in the pantheon of Russian tsars, not be remembered as the man who turned Russia into an oversized Chinese province.
