Putin has had visions of reuniting the USSR since the downfall. Biden, with the Afghan withdrawal, gave him what he thinks is his opportunity.

His face looks bloated in recent videos. Perhaps on drugs or hitting the sauce.
He’s a calculating guy that was head of the KGB’s successor, the FSB. Cold, 60 year old man that has been at the apex of the Russian heirarchy for over 20 years. Something changed for sure. Thoughts of a czarist legacy, mental issues?
I think Putin actually intended this as a more targeted operation, but his troops and implemented approach went awry.
In a way, I think Putin saw this as his Panama Invasion equivalent.

You’re getting one side of the story and it’s completely fake. The media is no better on foreign policy. Anytime one person comes across as just pure evil you should ALWAYS question thr narrative and try and find out more. If you don’t want to do that, go watch a TV show or play some games but please don’t just swallow the propaganda.
