Two Manhattan District Attorneys who have been investigating Donald Trump’s business practices for several years abruptly resigned on Tuesday, leaving the case against the former president in limbo.

Carey R. Dunne and Mark F. Pomerantz submitted their resignations after the new Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg, indicated that he had doubts about moving forward with the case.

The issue is whether Trump inflated his net worth to get favorable rates on real estate loans. After a flurry of activity in January at the Lower Manhattan courthouse where the grand jury was sitting, no witnesses have been called in about a month.

Heard this yesterday and didn't find anything in search. Will the New York Trump case be round filed?

If Trump was dirty, that UBER SCUMBAG Mueller and his 19 prosecutors and 400 FBI agents would have found the dirt.

They struck a dry hole.

The NY AG position is a highly political position, and its historically been used for political prosecutions to burnish the political future of the holders. Schneiderman, Cuomo and Spitzer all did it (and they all crashed and burned!)

Letitia James is a low IQ, woke, life-long activist and affirmative action compromise candidate for the job

Only a fool would follow her on what is a joke of an obvious political prosecution.

There is NOTHING illegal EVEN IF HE DID THAT.

Translation: This was another rabbit hole that we found empty. So we’re getting out before we have to do ambulance chasing as lawyers.

Legal, illegal, as long as it attempts to make Trump look like a scum bag, they’ll go for it.

Maintaining a two tracked system isn’t easy. One a justice system of laws. The other a political persecution system. The New York office has always been the go-to for political interests. Sometimes lawyers just don’t want to play that game. The glory of the power and moment has never aged well as history proves.

The issue is whether Trump inflated his net worth to get favorable rates on real estate loans.

How would that have ever been a crime and how would it have ever hoodwinked the bank into loaning more? A bank does its own appraisal on a crummy everyday home loan to ensure the loan is well less than the appraised value of the house in case the bank needs to foreclose.

It’s not like Trump’s properties are invisible. The bank would have done an appraisal to loan value on its own.

This whole attempt for find a crime becomes tedious.

Yea, who tries to undervalue something before selling or trying to get a loan. Likewise, who tries to over net worth when dealing with government. Total witch hunt

Democrats don’t need to jail Trump as they count the votes.

Trump was overvaluing for loans, charitable contributions, etc., and undervaluing for taxes, etc., but this is undoubtedly standard practice for the real estate business in NYC.

The big real estate interests in New York explained to their Democratic lackey that criminalizing their practices would not be a good idea.
