I wonder if the Trump team found some useful dirt on the prosecutors.

Guess they ran out of things to pull out of their ass.
Without Mr. Bragg’s commitment to move forward, the prosecutors late last month postponed a plan to question at least one witness before the grand jury, one of the people said. They have not questioned any witnesses in front of the grand jury for more than a month, essentially pausing their investigation into whether Mr. Trump inflated the value of his assets to obtain favorable loan terms from banks.
What’s that I see? A faint and vaporous wisp of Hope that reason will prevail? Let it be so.
Give 'em a break they were busy finding a country that does not Extradite to the USA or Russia.
Perhaps the Grand Jury was asking for actual evidence and not just story telling.

You don’t become a real estate tycoon in NYC without dealing with the 5 Families, or at least their legitimate fronts back in the day.
I’m not saying Trump did anything illegal.
Just the fact that they didn’t deter him or ruin him says a lot about him.

This could be a good sign that this is a dry hole and these two don’t see any big long term payoff so they are jumping ship early.
