Five people were stabbed in separate incidents in New York City subway stations this weekend since officials on Friday vowed to combat crime and address homelessness in the city's transit system as part of a new public safety initiative, according to the New York Police Department.
No arrests have been made in connection to any of the incidents, and all five victims are in stable condition, a NYPD spokesperson told CNN on Sunday.

Unless step 1 of the “plan” is put thugs in jail and keep ‘em there he’s pissin’ in the wind.

But there are those plastic knives with serrated edges that serve no legitimate culinary purpose. They can be had at any fast food franchise, and they’re invisible to metal detectors!

I’m sort of enjoying watching NY eat itself. Dagen McDowell said on FBN today, don’t come to NYC at all, it’s not safe. I believe her, not that I had any plans to go there.
Honestly, as a Staten Island resident (why should not be part of nyc), I have to say that even though he is HARD LEFT compared to our standards, this mayor is practically Rush Limbaugh (RIP) when compared to deblasio.
No one really knows the extent of deblasio’s FULL BLOWN leftism until they do a little reading about him.
This mayor took his first month’s pay in crypto, and whether a smart or stupid financial move, it shows that he may have an open mind on some things.
Now REMEMBER, I’m talking about a nyc mayor in 2022!

I’ve read that NYPD subway cops just love to eye tradesmen. Why? It’s because many tradesmen carry utility knives for work, and knives are banned on the subway. So some poor flooring guy might have a linoleum knife on him. He gets arrested.
I guess the cops are too busy hassling tradesmen to worry about actual criminals.

People are just too impatient. Mayor Adams has announced that the problem will be solved. He has ordered school nurses to patrol the subways. They begin their deployment this week. Not today though ,its a holiday.
They should build underground trauma units in NYC subways for the victims of Biden’s Corn Pop army.
Why don’t you move somewhere with proper weather and politics? I used to live in NY and PA and I wouldn’t move back on a dare.

Well, you’re close - right now the ding-bats in NYC are trying to decide between common sense knife control and common sense subway control - they’re just not sure yet which to go with.

I hear you dp. I was in the same boat out here on the left coast. My wife (at the time) refused to even consider leaving. Our neighbors were cool and “the weather”. Hard NO on even talking about leaving CA. Well, she’s my ex now. And my 16 year old is open to moving with me. Here we come Palm Harbor or Safety Harbor FL!!!

That would be considered “racist” since the knife is the weapon of choice of certain protected groups.
