If you do surveys of African countries, something like 80% of people have been exposed either to the vaccine or to various variants. What that does is it means the chance of severe disease, which is mainly related to being elderly and having obesity or diabetes, those risks are now dramatically reduced because of that infection exposure.
It's sad, we didn't do a great job on therapeutics. Only here, two years in, do we have a good therapeutic. Vaccines took us two years to get to oversupply. Today there are more vaccines than there are demand for vaccines.

Why SADLY?
That’s the type of statement that gets you branded anti-science and banned from twitter.
A. They aren’t vaccines; that is a classic bit of chicanery known as “Talking Past The Point.”
B. The COVID shots are genetic therapeutics; they don’t work the way vaccines work, they don’t confer immunity nearly as well, and what immunity they do confer doesn’t last like the immunity conferred by vaccines.
C. These genetic therapeutics were tailored to combat the original virus; their effectiveness against successive variants will be less.
“Crime of the century” is rather apropos.
One I agree with Bill.
The vaccine, so-called, was never meant to provide immunity. It was meant to cause sterility and to depopulate the world, specifically the caucasian part of the world.

Gates is somewhat right. Omicron has broadly delivered immunity, and it will persist to . . . oh, lets call it May or June. That’s 6 months.
Then the next variant will arrive and see unprotected meat to be chopped. Right on time for August.
