Carnival Cruise Line plans to make masks optional for its guests from March 1 after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) eased its warnings for cruise ships, the company said in a statement late on Friday.
The company said masks would be recommended but not required.

Still wouldn’t set foot on a cruise ship.
You do it or you don’t by YOUR choice...not someone else’s “choice” for you, aka order.

This policy leaves it up to the individual to ‘do it or don’t’.
But have to have the jab, still, I bet.
Yes, for anyone over 5 years old, jab required. So they’re still requiring something for absolutely no reason.
They can’t tell patrons not to wear them if that’s what the patrons want to do.
That said, muzzles don’t work and, worse, are fomites.
I’ve had noro.
I’d rather have the coof.

Of course

The best part of this policy is that it makes it easy to spot Democrats.
NYS just imitated booster requirements for healthcare workers, at least for now.
Three guesses why.
But Carnival is still demanding guests be boosted?!
SNORT.
NYS just eliminated booster requirements for HCPs....
So, Libs fighting change to their death........conservatives?
: )
....we have good friends who still wear masks indoors AND OUTDOORS.... the feddle gubbermint has done a great job of scaring the sh*t out of people.....masks are useless, but still........
What better way to assess the mental capacity of people than to to observe who does, or doesn’t, choose to wear a mask to protect against C19?
I’m not spending thousands of my hard-earned dollars to conduct an IQ test on a floating bug farm.
Me either, but just because I don’t like big cruise ships. I might do a river cruise in Eastern Europe (Danube) once things settle out over there, and I don’t have to wear a mask while flying. So it might be a while.
Next up..:
Negative AIDS test!!

Great thought.
And for that reason I will never set foot on a Carnival ship.
Even if/when they change their policy.
I will NOT forget.
Hear That Carnival?

Yeah, that policy has been working out well.
