4-year-old autistic boy allowed to fly without wearing mask

BOSTON (AP) — Lawyers representing the family of a 4-year-old boy with autism said Wednesday that they have received a temporary court order from a federal judge exempting him from having to wear a mask when flying from Florida to Boston for treatment.

U.S. District Court Chief Judge Patti Saris in Boston scheduled an emergency hearing Wednesday after the lawyers said two airlines and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention declined to grant a mask exception for the boy. His family lives in Sanford, Florida, and must travel for care at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Saris ordered that a mask exemption letter that applies for the next 30 days for American Airlines and Southwest Airlines be issued to Michael Seklecki Sr., the boy’s father until additional court actions can be held.

Seklecki has said in court documents that the boy is unable to cover his face.

A request for comment from the CDC was not immediately returned.

Anyone who has ever flown with an autistic knows they bite and lash out. Best to put them in the back of the plane last row window seat with preboard it’s just easier that way. I would challenge a steward to reach in an try to put a mask on an adult autistic they will end up with blood being drawn and given that autistic are near the top of the ADA food chain much above minorities they are untouchable not even the FAA goons will mess with them. This is from personally experience.

How about everyone just take off the masks in the plane.

Wtf are they going to do?

Conditioned idiocy.

It’s not about the virus. It never was. It’s about control.

It’s all about teaching COMPLIANCE….
...not “following the 'science'”:

Masks are:

1) a sign of submission, subversion and subjugation
2) mandated in order to dehumanize
3) virtue signaling devices
4) meant to provide constant reinforcement of fear
5) used to destroy community, friends and family normal communication
6) implemented to create isolation, confusion, anxiety, destroy human connectivity, trust and interactions
7) mandated to exacerbate illness
8) intended to aid in the abandonment of the belief and reliance on our immune systems
9) intended to refute integrous science
10) signal to positions of power that you are willing to give up all of your rights and freedoms based on anything they say, even if it is a BIG FAT LIE!

Yes it does.

Autistic kids are often sensitive to touch.

Anything on their face for example.

What happened in your experience?

What do the TSA guys do when they have to check an autistic person?
