Nearly 1,500 New York City municipal workers have been fired over their refusal to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
That number represents less than 1% of the city's workforce, but it appears to be the country's largest workforce reduction linked to COVID vaccines.
Under a mandate set by former Mayor Bill de Blasio, city employees on leave without pay and those who were newly hired had been told they had until Friday, Feb. 11., to show proof of vaccination or they would face termination.
The workers on leave had to submit proof of their first dose and would then have 45 days to receive a second dose. The new workers had submitted proof of an initial dose when they were hired and were required to show they'd completed their vaccine series.
The 1,428 employees who were on unpaid leave for more than three months lost their jobs.
Data provided by City Hall Monday shows the majority of employees who were fired worked in the Department of Education, which saw 914 people let go. The Housing Authority terminated 101 workers.
Also fired were 36 New York Police Department workers and 25 FDNY employees.
Meanwhile, 939 employees on unpaid leave -- about 40% of the group -- opted to get vaccinated and keep their jobs.

More Stimulus for the unemployed!
The absurdity of a forced vaxx, which never worked that well with the original form of the virus and works especially poorly with Omicron; when the virus has now mutated to the point of being a head cold.
Since not taking the jab is considered a voluntary act of separation, they are not eligible for unemployment.
Even the jabbed truckers stand up for those who will lose their job without the shot.
Unity? Bah!
Hopefully you’ll find employment soon.
You’ll still have your principles, which many don’t value enough.
They may be able to appeal as their exemptions were denied arbitrarily.
They don’t care - they want the destruction of society.
That’s all this is.
Plenty of Florida and Texas agencies are looking. And you get out of the liberal den you are in for a lower cost of living.
This is not about a disease. It’s forcing the folks to bow down to the awesome power of The Government. “Little O” is a bad cold. Delta is gone. “Little O” and “baby sister little O” remain, and they aren’t doing much damage. In fact, they leave behind immunity to covid. So the nightmare is almost over.
But the folks still are not prostrating themselves in front of Big Government, promising life-long obedience and subjugation. No. In fact, some dared to defy their Masters by not getting jabbed, or driving and parking big trucks. They will have to be put down. Setting up true, actual gulags wouldn’t work. So they set up virtual gulags and fire you, prevent you from entering public buildings and getting medical treatment. Just north of here they seize control of your bank accounts, professional licenses, driving licenses.
Do you think our government and trudeau will become nice, kind, law-abiding leaders who respect your rights? NOT going to happen. They will remain the fascists that they are, ready to deploy their fascism at the slightest provocation.

The city is not going to be able to fill a lot of positions going forward without paying serious money. The "work now, pension later" model is dead in New York City government employment.
These employees also found out they never actually belonged to a union. A union would have gone out on a general strike when the very first mandate came out.
Expect "slip and fall" claims from those on the city payroll, including those who got the Jim Jones Jab. Who would ever trust the City of New York as an employer again?

The last report I read was over 4,000 workers. What happened to the other 2,500? Did they buckle and take the shot?

Doesn’t look like they had a job any damn way.
Who is going to notice? Now, if they were garbage collectors, they could shut down the city in a matter of days.
There goes another or maybe your last reason/excuse not to get the hell outta the hell that place has become.
If you do leave? Do NOT bring any of that nasty chit with you wherever you go.
Decontaminate thyself first against that mental malware and then don’t look back.
Quarantine the sick where you left them and hope for the best, because that wasting disease is a viscous, ruthless destroyer of all things when and wherever it takes over.
Either vote it out and clean up the mess or leave, that’s all you can do … which is why people are leaving now.
