There are several federal laws that address hacking, including:
The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA);
The Stored Communications Act (SCA);
The Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA); and
The Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA).
RICO statutes could apply if the taking of information via hacking is considered robbery but that seems a bit of a reach.
Might also run afoul of 52 USC 10307: Prohibited acts.
All are federal felonies.

The DNC was and possible still is a sock puppet for the Clintons. Like the Clintons, the DNC is a criminal organization. It's beyond credulity to believe the higher ups in the DNC did not coordinate with the Clinton per Russia Gate. Any surprise by the DNC today about Hillary's culpability is only feigned.
It does seem to be the most appropriate time to end her political career. However, I perceive her to be a vengeful woman and I highly doubt that she would go quietly. Also, depending on the DNC involvement, might implicate a number of other politicians.
According to Fox & Friends, the mainstream media is ignoring the story so far. Peter Doocy was in front of the White House and as far as he could tell, the other networks were mostly interested in the Valentine’s Day displays.
That, and even CNN is starting to criticize the animated turnip called Joe Biden.
Hillary would make Machiavelli and Caligula recoil in horror.

They used a friendly tech executive at a private company that was working on the White House networks to vacuum DNS requests and other IP data off the network and then send it out to private and university researchers working on government grants to look for "incriminating" evidence.
When essential government security services are farmed out to private companies with cross connects to the Democratic Party, you only need a few allies in the security services because your agents are already deeply embedded in the government infrastructure and can manufacture "evidence" whenever they want to.

I think it’s more of a play by one or two factions of the Dems. The Biden Administration and supporters and/or factions of Harris and whatever idiots that support her.
They are very worried that Hillary will challenge Joe (or even Harris should Biden not finish his term) for 2024. They have too much invested in their fraud of 2020 to throw it all away on a Hillary who owes them nothing, will bring in her own cabal and leave them nothing, and who still hasn’t shown she could do a real, prolonged campaign.
And if we've learned anything over the past 30 years, it's that laws are for the little people. Laws no longer apply to the elites in our society, unless the elites decide to impose them on one of their own.
It's highly unlikely that criminals like the Clintons, Bidens, Fauci, Soros and a slew of other elites will ever see jail time. However, there is a Judge they will eventually face who applies truth and justice and who cannot be bought!
Hillary may have a hard time getting out of this one. Unlike Bill who was a slick liar, Hillary is an evil plotter whose ambition will stop at nothing. Hillary cannot likely talk her way out of this one. However, I have little hope she will actually be indicted much less go to jail.
I agree that Hillary will NOT go quietly. Her whole reason for being is to become POTUS.
Remember, Hilly has the goods to put all of her fellow travelers in prison with her.

The Clintonians are untouchable....many a righteous soul has literally died trying...think Vince Foster, Seth Rich and a whole host of others.
Normally, UniParty hacks will NOT undermine other UniParty hacks. Unless, of course, they become some sort of a “liability”. And that may be the case here....they don’t want her anywhere near their ongoing coup. It’s a dangerous move on their part though as the Toons have the goods on EVERYBODY and ain’t afraid to “dispose of their enemies when necessary.
FWIW, I suspect this will go nowhere, as usual...maybe not, we’ll see.
