Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nomination is former President Donald Trump’s for the taking.
Anchor George Stephanopoulos said, “Senator, it’s been several years since you’ve been on the program. It’s our first chance since January 6 to ask about your relationship with President Trump and his leadership with the Republican Party. We showed your comments from January 6. The next day you talked about the president’s accountability for allowing the ride to happen. You’ve also said the Republican Party can’t win without him, and the 2024 nomination is his for taking. Do you support president trump’s comeback in 2024?

In saying that, he under-estimated concern Americans had about the China virus. Nearly 250 Million Americans have chosen to get jabbed with an experimental vaccine. That is such obvious proof of fear Americans have of that virus, mostly unjustified.
Trump is in no position to do anything but act as rainmaker in key SOS races. The rest is up to legislatures in the states. And from what I’ve heard there’re mixed results there.

Nah, leaders have to lead the people in the right direction. If, by your own words, the fear isn’t warranted then he needs to continue to stress that the welfare is unwarranted.
Graham may be right on this one. There’s a possibility that Trump may not run or may not generate a lot of enthusiasm in the primaries.
Some RINOs want a more RINO candidate, some Trump-friendly GOPers want a younger and more aggressive candidate who won’t rehash the last elections.
Also, I’m not sure Trump wants to run, because his influence is almost greater in picking candidates than it would be in the fray. Keep an eye on which candidate the Dems hate the most.
The primaries are the time to sort this out. And if Trump is the candidate, I think all Republicans (and a lot of Independents and Libertarians) would vote for him in any case. And we’ll be better organized this time around.
