The first Black federal judge in Alabama spoke out against one of President Biden's potential Supreme Court picks in a letter addressed to the commander in chief that was obtained by NBC News.
U.W. Clemon, a former chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama, urged the president not to consider Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for the vacancy.
The retired judge said that there are "several exceptionally well-qualified black female aspirants for the Supreme Court" but that he "strongly" believes Jackson should not be considered.
Clemon referenced the case Ross v. Lockhead as reasoning for his opposition to Jackson, a class-action suit she presided over on behalf of 5,500 Black Lockheed Martin employees. Clemon wrote that Jackson refused to approve the settlement that was reached, which would have provided $22 million to the workers.
"She refused to approve the settlement because in her view there were no common factual questions," Clemon wrote.
Clemon is named as a counsel at the firm that argued the losing side of the Ross v. Lockheed case.
Jackson, who has a background as a public defender, has earned praise from progressives for her previous rulings on labor matters.
The White House defended Jackson following Clemon's letter in a statement to NBC News.

This judge is angry that she didn’t give the settlement to the blacks. He isn’t saying that Biden shouldn’t appoint her, because she won’t be good on following the Constitution.

Leftist Miami media is trying to promote Jackson as the greatest judge in the history of the Republic...just because she is a leftist and is from south Florida.

I disagree. The Democrats have absolutely kept their promises.
Approximately 25% of Black college graduates are employed by a government agency or a government contractor. Another 10% are working in corporate Human Resources departments.
Competitive testing for industrial or manual jobs is race normed, also known as racial quotas.
And, the legal tort system is especially generous to Black Americans, with the possible exception of this one case.
They want a far Left extremist whack job to further their “destroy America from within” agenda. Why don’t people get that? Why do they keep attributing the Lefts attacks on this country to incompetence? It’s deliberate acts that are meant to destroy and undermine the foundation. Of course there would be better picks, but not for their purposes.
The politburo does not want a good conscientious justice for the USSC. They want a reliable radical who will make political decisions regardless of the Constitution.
While,true, many live in poverty expecting the government to pay their way, and thye never achieve independence or any meaninglul wealth- many live in poverty andmtheir cites are hellholes- jusy pook at baltimore and other such cities.
Trump put billions towards improving the lives and opportunities and jobs of those thay wanted to work in the black,communities all across the nation, and what does joey obiden offer them? Crack pipes! Obama gave them obamaphones

I guess a free crack pipe or obamaphone is worth more than a $40,000 or more a year job to some of them? There are a few who have seen the light, but wierdly can’t seem to see it

Promises broken in the past may prevent repatriation to
