Will the 'Unvaxxed' Have the Last Laugh?
Townhall.com ^ | February 13, 2022 | Rob Jenkins

For over a year now, the messaging from our “health experts” and government leaders has been as dreary as it has been monotonal: Take the covid “vaccine” or die.

That talking point was reiterated by resident Biden* just a few weeks ago when he warned the “unvaxxed” would face “a winter of severe disease and death.” And that was before New Jersey’s resident rodent meteorologist, Milltown Mel, shuffled off this mortal coil just prior to Groundhog Day. So I guess that means, in New Jersey at least, another six weeks of severe disease and death.

Originally, of course, we were told the mRNA injections would prevent people from contracting the disease. “If you get vaccinated, you won’t get covid” was the mantra recited for months, in various forms and multiple forums, by Drs. Fauci, Walensky, and Murthy, resident Biden*, and many others. We were also assured that sufficiently jabbed people don’t spread the virus, with Fauci claiming the injections constitute a “dead end for covid.”

It's important not to forget those statements, as the same people now insist they never promised any such thing. Perhaps that’s because, in the face of overwhelming evidence, they’ve been forced to admit jabbed people can and do get covid and can and do give it to others. Said Walensky just a few weeks ago, “what [the vaccines] can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.” Even Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla was forced to acknowledge that his products now offer “limited, in any, protection.”

But what about the vaunted “death benefit” from the mRNA injections? They still protect against serious illness and death, right? Well, yes, that does seem to be the case—but the effect is waning fast. Moreover, the claim itself comes with several asterisks.

There have always been questions about how we count “covid deaths,” as both the CDC and the UK’s National Health Service have recently acknowledged. But if anything, those problems have been amplified in the way we differentiate between “vaccinated” and “unvaccinated” deaths.

For one thing, the most commonly cited number to prove “vaccine efficacy”—“90 percent of covid deaths are among the unvaccinated”—is fundamentally flawed because it goes back to the earliest days of the injections when almost no one had gotten them. Obviously, nearly all who died of (or with) covid in January and February of 2021 were “unvaccinated.”

Moreover, our health officials have been engaged for over a year in a kind of statistical sleight of hand, categorizing people who have taken the injections as “unvaccinated” up until 14 days after their second shot, which means at least five or six weeks have passed since their first shot. In doing so, they ignore evidence that the shots actually make people more susceptible to the virus in the short term. So if you contract covid after getting both shots, but prior to the closing of the 14-day window, and then die, you are considered an “unvaccinated” death. (They’re playing this same trick with the booster shots, too.)

This method also does not account for those who die as a result of immediate adverse reactions to the shots. Such deaths are generally numbered among the “unvaccinated,” even though it was the “vaccine” that killed them. But that’s a topic for another day.

Another fact the Covidians like to conveniently gloss over is that most people who die from covid, still, are elderly and/or infirm. In many cases, they’re already at death’s door, too sick even to be injected, which for them would simply hasten the inevitable with no appreciable benefit. Yet when they do die, they’re chalked up as “unvaccinated.” That clearly skews the numbers.

Unfortunately for the vaccinators, the “death benefit” narrative is beginning to erode, much like the “you won’t get covid” narrative before it. The latest statistics out of the UK (whose numbers are more accurate and honest than ours, although still not completely transparent), as broken down by Igor Chudov on Substack, show protection against death waning in all age groups, week over week, by an average of seven percent. Worst is the 40-49 age group, which just saw a 12 percent decline.

In addition, the director of the coronavirus ward at Israel’s Ichilov Hospital, Prof. Jacob Giris, reports that at his institution, “between 70 and 80 percent of…severe cases are vaccinated” and boosted, with “at least three injections.” He goes on to conclude, in an interview with a local news channel, that “the vaccine has no significance regarding severe illness.”

And then there’s this: a new study out of The Netherlands claims to have determined the reason for the apparent “death benefit”—and it’s not good news. As you may recall, way back at the beginning of the pandemic, we were told it's often not the coronavirus itself that kills but rather the immune system’s extreme overreaction to the virus—the “cytokine storm.” Remember that?

Well, the Dutch researchers think they know why the injections seem to prevent some deaths: because they impede the immune system’s response to the point where such extreme reactions are less likely. From the study: “We observed a significant reduction in the production of IFN-a (Interferon-alpha, a primary cytokine) secreted after…the administration of the second dose of the vaccine. This may hamper the initial innate immune response against the virus.”

So, yeah. There you go. The injections might—emphasis on might—provide some short-term protection against serious illness and death, although that benefit appears to be disappearing fast. But at what cost? The potentially permanent suppression of your immune system?

Since most healthy people aren’t even at serious risk from the disease, that seems like a high price to pay. And it may well be that, when the pandemic itself is a distant memory, those who refused the shots and came through okay will be much better off in the long run than their incessantly “vaxxed” fellow citizens.

Parliament should be all over Trudeau who has/had Covid despite being double shot and boosted.

And the idea that truckers who spend more time alone than Biden in his basement will pass on Covid is absurd.

The solution is a rapid test at the border.

Dopesick where Purdue Laughingly developed the term “breakthrough pain” so they could increase dosages to patients who are already addicted. Now, the pharmaceuticals are using the term “breakthrough cases” for people who get the virus despite being “immunized”.

I haven't been laughing about this mass hysteria; witnessing first-hand the callow fear and shameless obsequience of 'my fellow Americans' has made me both angry and disgusted.

On the 'maskless, unvaccinated' bit, though... that's a big a-firm.

IMHO... if you laugh at someone who dies or is severely injured from the shot.. you need to have a conversation with God. The folks I know who got the shot did so for several understandable reasons: they were told they would kill an aging relative or infant if they passed on Covid (even if they were not having symptoms and didn’t know they had it). Other people were told they would lose ALL of their college time and money and be thrown out if they didn’t get the shot. Some of these kids owe a good bit already and worked hard on getting a degree to pay off the loan. Some people got the shot because they were told they would lose their job, their pension, their home, their car... and the companies LOVED this because of all the money they would save from NOT paying out pensions. Not everyone is in the same financial position.. some are retired and could say no to the shot.. others have home businesses and could say no. MY POINT: I mourn, grieve, and pray for those who got the shot just as I mourn, grieve and pray for those who became ill or died with Covid. I place my disgust and hatred on the government.. plain and simple. Before laughing at someone who got the shot and is ill now... just remember, God sees you and knows your heart. My two cents...

My issue with some FReepers over their vaccine promotion is the government trust angle. We have the Communists anew whispering sweet nothings into naive ears from every angle and clamoring for a needle gateway into our bodies. That should get the hairs of anybody with a history book standing on end! You’d think FReepers would be in unison against such a suspect set up.

When my wife had the China virus I got the quercetin to supplement the zinc. It induced vomiting in her. Fast forward to this week when my 14 year old got the virus it did the same thing.
Wondering if they need to be taken separately versus together. I gave the quercetin and zinc all at once. Maybe that’s too much for the stomach to handle all at once.

Any long term damage will never be allowed connection to mRNA therapies. The #purebloods will be blamed for all “vaccinated” bad outcomes.

The truth will come out in in the second quarter...when Insurance Companies issue their annual reports.

Expect big losses due to high mortality rates comparing 2021 to the year prior.

They might event take on Pfizer for causing it.

Not to self...put options on Insurance....and on Pfizer.

Instead, zinc supplement that provides 50 mg Zn++ ion daily, and a suitable zinc ionophore, like Vitamin C or Vitamin D3 (I take both) keeps the COVID-19 Wuhan virus from getting established in my system,

Yes, my hubby and I have more faith in this treatment.

You’re probably right. The only think that would/could maybe turn that around is if the GOP gets tough enough (I know. I know. Quit laughing.) that we’ll kick ass for so long and so hard that the RATs will roll over on their backs and give up. Sadly, Satan doesn’t give up easily.

The solution is a rapid test at the border.

Another "solution" to a non-existent problem. These rapid tests are notoriously unreliable and false positives will greatly inconvenience the drivers and delay the loads from getting where they need to go, as well as feed into the general hysteria.

The situation with rapid testing is so insane that in my place of work, I have perfectly healthy employees enjoying paid time off over a false positive. Or even if they do actually have something, it's nothing more than a case of the sniffles that we've deal with all throughout time.

It's all a big scam. I don't even want to concede "rapid testing" to these bozos.

What you wrote is what I have heard from so many of my family and friends as to why they got vaccinated.

I had this conversation last night with a good friend I hadn’t seen in a while, who just got a third shot. I did my best not to be confrontational, but I pointed out that they have been injected three times with an experimental drug, That has only been in existence for two years. We don’t know what the long term effects will be.

In the future, will there be a testing protocol for the long-term risks to the vaccinated?

The stress of the times and simple genetics might be causing the BP rises in your father and aunt. The vax or the virus may cause other issues but I doubt BP issues, in and of themselves.

I’m sorry about your mom. Was it covid or a vax reaction? The post is unclear.

What’s being done to control the “deadly BP levels” in your dad and aunt?

I agree with you...and the mandate for truckers is ridiculous...but the testing would be a save face solution since CDC believes in the rapid tests...and don’t forget...we have the same mandate at BOTH our borders....illegals excepted.

What has been told to us have been changing but in some ways remained the same: get a shot or kill the ones you love. How in the world could I laugh at someone who did something out of LOVE for their family? The blame and anger should be at the ones in charge... not the victims of them. (((Hugs))) PR!
