“””The folks I know who got the shot did so for several understandable reasons: they were told they would kill an aging relative or infant if they passed on Covid (even if they were not having symptoms and didn’t know they had it).”””

What you wrote is what I have heard from so many of my family and friends as to why they got vaccinated.

What has been told to us have been changing but in some ways remained the same: get a shot or kill the ones you love. How in the world could I laugh at someone who did something out of LOVE for their family? The blame and anger should be at the ones in charge... not the victims of them. (((Hugs))) PR!

I’m the only one in my family who did not get jabbed. My elderly parents did so out of fear which is understandable. My nephew had no choice as it was required by his college. One of my brothers did so in order to visit his sick wife in the hospital, but my other brother is a flaming liberal who is proud to be vaccinated and boosted. This brother of mine hates the fact that I have chosen not to be vaccinated and says that I’m going to die. I’m not on social media, but I hear he has gone nuts over the truckers and is posting that they are all terrorists and should all be arrested. It is funny how different my one brother and I are wired. Unfortunately, he is six years older and that made for some very unfair fights growing up and it was not a good idea to piss him off when the parents weren’t around.
