The “heavy” DDoS attack on GiveSendGo took place when the platform started collecting donations for Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign.
GoFundMe’s rival GiveSendGo claims it was a victim of “heavy DDoS and bot attacks” on Friday, leading to server downtime as soon as the site started raising cash for the Canadian trucker convoy. According to the website despite technical glitches, the Christian fundraising platform raised more than $1.35 million within 12 hours.
It is worth noting that the Freedom Convoy 2022 campaign is seeking to raise $16 million. As per a video message from campaign organizer Tamara Lich, the convoy aims to be “here for the long haul, as long as it takes to make sure your rights and freedom are restored.”
Incident Details GiveSendGo started raising funds for Freedom Convoy’s truckers protesting against COVID-19 vaccine passports and mandates after GoFundMe froze the convoy’s account having $10 million in donations.
However, the website claims that it experienced unexpected downtime when it began raising funds. The site went offline erratically after relaunching the campaign on Friday. But, the website tweeted, it could still raise funds for the campaign five times faster than its competitor GoFundMe.
“We have been under heavy DDOS and bot attacks. In spite of all of this, we still have managed to raise funds 5X faster than the gfm did. GFM raised 10mil in 3 weeks. GSG campaign has already raised over 1.1mil in just over 12 hours!”
As per the convoy’s campaign page, donations will first go to the fuel cost and then to food and lodging while a crew of volunteers has carried jerry-cans of fuel to the truckers as they need to keep their trucks mobile even if the convoy isn’t moving.

Lord, You are our Defender and our strength in battle. Bring confusion to the plans of Your enemies, and glorify Yourself in those who place their trust in You.
Figured this was next, deep state in both countries
Amen.
If anybody doesn’t think ‘we’re at war’ with the powers and wealth of those calling the shots, politically and otherwise, then they’re not paying attention. The information war is burning hot and heavy....and they’re going after any and all who stand in their way.
The “They” are all those attempting to manipulate society here and abroad to a centralized government controlling people in every facet of life. You can identify them because they can’t and won’t be questioned....and they can’t reason as they only follow the script they’ve been brainwashed with for decades.
It’s been hinky for days. ever since GSG made a comment about GFM.
My dog’s life is at stake on there but the left only cares about crushing everyone into submission, by whatever means necessary.
What’s a DDOS?
Cyber Attacks Escalate ….. a show of desperation
Direct denial of service.... overload the server with cyber requests
Distributed Denial Of Service - basically a wide-ranging and enormous network of remote controlled zombie computers perform mass pings, service requests, etc., all at once to the point where the servers overload or legitimate users cannot use the servers, etc.
Many of these ‘zombie network’ computers are personal computers owned by people who are too tech-stupid to understand why they need to secure their computers against viruses, trojans and other malware. Think of all the grannies and gramps clicking on all the clearly fake ads and notifications and following through on all of them, or all the kids clicking through for porn from dodgy sites, etc. These are the most likely infected machines, there are *millions* of them, and they can be remotely controlled to attack others en masse.
Hate to tell you, but DDOS is not a tool restricted to governments. One of the most infamously powerful DDOS networks the world had ever seen was created and run by a young man in the Midwest in the 90s and 2000s. Guy’s online handle was (among others) ‘bleach’ and if he decided he didn’t like you, your connection was *gone*.
There are hackers around the world with million-computer-plus botnets that will rent them out to people for the express purpose of DDOS for hire, among other things. It doesn’t take government resources to do this.
Why hasn’t it been used on the communists? Think about it.
It *has*. Most recently, someone kicked North Korea off the internet completely with a DDOS attack. https://www.cnet.com/tech/services-and-software/american-hacker-says-he-took-down-north-korean-internet-wired-reports/
There are other cases where Marxists have been hit by DDOS attacks too - but less so than conservatives because:
1. More hackers are lefties than not.
2. Commies often don’t have money to pay ransoms when DDOSed so the extortionist types that aren’t leftist already aren’t going to bother attacking a victim that won’t pay.
Democratic Underground, the counterpart to FR has been DDOSed repeatedly.
Amen
But this cyber-attack will be ignored by the feds.
Distributed Denial Of Service.
Essentially, there are a lot of computers worldwide which are hijacked and hackers have control of those systems. (The Distributed part)
The hackers can take all those hijacked systems and focus them on a site flooding the site with immense traffic from these hijacked systems from all over and thus rendering the site inoperable. (The Denial Of Service part)
It is hard to stop. Very hard to stop. Traffic comes from everywhere and it is massive. Very difficult to tell real traffic from the attack traffic.

More than you will ever care to know about DDOS.
Amen.
I keep hearing of this desperation. I hope you’re right.
