Medical examiner: Bob Saget died from unseen blow to head... 'unseen'?

RLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A medical examiner in Florida said Thursday that comedian Bob Saget died from an accidental blow to the head, likely from a backwards fall. Saget was found dead Jan. 9 in a Florida hotel room. He’d performed in the area the night before as part of a stand-up tour. A toxicology analysis didn't show any illicit drugs or toxins in Saget's body, according to a statement from Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany in Orlando. An autopsy report released later Thursday showed that Saget had an abrasion on his scalp, a fracture at the base of his skull, fractures around his eye sockets, bleeding between the brain and tissue covering the brain as well as bruises to the brain. Saget was positive for COVID-19 but had no inflammation in his respiratory system, according to the report. “His injuries were most likely incurred from an unwitnessed fall," the statement said. “The manner of death is accident."

Actually, yes. Soft tissue injury (laceration, abrasion, contusion) points to the location of impact. Whether accidental or intentional requires forensic investigation.

To fracture both eye sockets on your own, I’d imagine you’d have to fall forward without in any way breaking your fall?

I was just looking at a headline that says the blow to his head appeared quite severe, like “from a baseball bat.” So he (supposedly) somehow hit his head pretty hard, thought nothing of it and went to bed, never woke up. Although initial reports stated that he was lying half-in and half-out of the bed.

If he was laying facedown, that would be very suspicious... According to all those ‘investigative’ shows, when people die of ‘natural’ causes they are typically on their sides or faceup. Finding a body facedown is unusual.

It was Russian hookers, possible Ukrainian. He did not pay them enough and said that he should be the one to be paid (as he was known to say in other occasions at other hotels allegedly..)
So they invited in their business partner to settle the matter.
The security video would show the women and the missing Rolex watch and the large amount of cash being divided up.
