At this point you’re right.

Who needs another paperweight on their desk for plinking?

I’m sure not seeing that here in Georgia. I”m so sick of seeing those S&W M&P’s however.... never wanted one, never will....

Define “need”.

That is up to each individual.

Nope, that figure I believe only counts the number of transactions recorded int he last few decades.

I’ve been told by a (as credible as they get) senior bureaucrat in intelligence that as of about 2010 they estimated 800-950 millions firearms in existence int eh US.

Also that probably 30-40 million are stashed and forgotten until someone stumbles across them someday.

Good point. People can acquire as many as they want and afford.

Gun safe is bursting at the seems. Got no more room. Ammo stores are sagging the floor. Had to stop.

the more firearms people have, the less serious crime there

which is why so many police and sheriffs recommend being armed. even if your local PD is wonderful and staffed with the world’s greatest cops,
they’ll tell you...in all honesty.. that 99 percent of the time they cannot possibly get to you in time to defend you or your home or property

Yeah, at some point, unless you are Eugene Tackleberry and intend to make some kind of last stand, most people probably have what we need... at least for the moment.

January. Makes sense.

McIntyre, I’m more concerned about having enough ammo to go to the range.

Food, gas and other necessities are eating into my ammo budget.

That’s exactly why sales have slipped a little. Everything else has gotten massively expensive because of,the faux presidents asinine domestic policies driving the cost of everything. Sky high

Exactly. Guns are great, but people also need to eat, and inflation is forcing them to choose. You can't eat lead.

Yeah...2.5 million guns is substantial. Maybe they should consider what happened in January, 2021 to figure out these numbers.

Were there any people involved?
