Transport trucks backed up on Highway 402 in Sarnia in wake of Windsor protest [Main alternative to Windsor-Detroit]
Sarnia Observer ^ | Feb. 8 2022 | Paul Morden

Highway 402 traffic cameras showed transport trucks backed up beyond Airport Road in Sarnia at about noon Tuesday on the highway’s westbound lanes approaching the Blue Water Bridge.

Transport trucks were backed up to Mandaumin Road and Sarnia’s city limits on Highway 402’s westbound lanes Tuesday afternoon while provincial police advised drivers to find different routes into the city.

The roughly 20-kilometre logjam on the highway leading to the Blue Water Bridge came even after the Ambassador Bridge border crossing between Windsor and Detroit had reopened to U.S.-bound traffic after an anti-vaccine mandate demonstration had blocked both directions on Monday evening.

Windsor police said Tuesday U.S.-bound traffic was trickling across that bridge, though blockades still prevented movement the other way.

I had heard rumors of this, but this is the first story I have found. If both Sarnia and Windsor are clogged, things should get very interesting in Toronto fairly quickly.

I have spent far too much of my time following the Canada issue.

One way or the other something is going to break before Friday.

Saskatchewan gave the first clue this morning. End of all mandates effective Feb 14.

Or the Leftists in Ottawa believe this is their ‘hill to die on’

Whatever way it goes-—the trucker brigade will end before Friday.

Good job Michigan. I’m sure Big Gretch is spinning up the state police hate crime unit as we speak.

“Or the Leftists in Ottawa believe this is their ‘hill to die on’”

IF THEY WANT IT, MAKE IT SO.

LITERALLY.

TO THE VERY LAST MAN.

Revelation 19:11 CANNOT be a day too soon for me.

With that many Trucks not Trucking, I would think supplies have to be running short in places?

Yeah...huge demonstration in Vancouver today, then Alberta caved in this afternoon. One by one the dominoes are falling all over the country.

I have seen nothing on the local WNY sucka$$ news about the Peace Bridge (Buffalo-Fort Erie), the Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls) or the Lewiston Queenston Bridge. The PB and L-Q are heavily commercial. Of course it could very well be the local sucka$$ nedia are looking the other way...

Sarnia is opposite Port Huron, Michigan. I drove over that bridge once several years ago, but in the opposite direction...wasn’t much traffic.
