NEW JERSEY - Gov. Phil Murphy of New Jersey will reportedly announce Monday that he is lifting his state’s school mask mandate for students and employees.

His announcement is expected at a 1:00 p.m. COVID-19 briefing in Trenton, according to the NY Times.

The change will take effect the second week of March as temperatures get milder and ventilation becomes possible, Murphy told the paper.

The Democratic governors in New York and Connecticut have foreshadowed in recent days that they may lift school mask mandates, too.

Trying to appease the peasants leading up to the mid-terms? As if how we vote shows up in the released counts anymore.

CT gov (Dem) is going to let it expire and throw it back on local school boards to make the decision so he can wash his hands of the issue ahead of re-election bid.

“November close call having its effect.”

Yup. Murphy had to cheat to win—so irritating when the natives get revolting.

They know the masks provide ZERO protection. Why are they waiting until mid-march?

And the lemmings bow and say Thank You Sir!

There are two reasons for this:

1. Florida
2. Texas

The leaders of these sh!t-hole Northeastern U.S. states are finally starting to feel like morons because most of America is back to normal and these states are hemorrhaging people, businesses and IQ points in the process.

Too late; the damage is done. What legitimate business or sane person wants to stay in a state run by stupid and corrupt politicians?

Red states need laws that politicians and former politicians of blue states cannot become residents of the red states they previously targeted.

Florida isn’t exactly setting the world on fire attracting high quality businesses and industry to their state. Just attracting out of state boomers, immigrants and people who work in tourism and real estate. Texas is a better model for building a successful economic infrastructure.

Exactly. I moved myself and my business out of New Jersey as soon as that loser governor began imposing shutdown measures in the spring of 2020.

which of course illustrates that this virus has been, and is being used as a political football to acheive whatever social goals are expedient at the time; those on this website who cling to the notion that the virus is not an exercise in elevated crowd contol need to wise up...
